Chapter Four

When I woke up the next morning, I jumped a little as I had forgotten that I am now home with my real family. Just after I had woke up, Ruby woke up we sat in bed.

 "How are you feeling this morning," Ruby asks me. "I still trying to wrap my head around it all," I told her.

 "Can you feel the connection we have?" Ruby asked me. "Yeah, I do. I have felt it since the first time I shifted," I tell her.

 "It got stronger the closer I got here I have always felt like something was missing like I was not whole and now I know why it's you, you are what has been missing," I tell her.

 Not long after we had woken up, mum came in "There is a party tonight for us at the packhouse to celebrate you been home," mum told us.

 "Would you like to look through my clothes if you need to, I will do your hair if you would like," Ruby said to me?

"Well breakfast is almost ready I just got to make the pancakes, so chop, chop you too," mum said 

Mum went down before us. We got dressed, then went to get our pancakes. Ruby was at one side of mum I was at the other, so we both kissed her on her cheeks at the same time. Mum giggled. Then over to dad to do the same to him. Then we sat down to eat. "Hay dad do you know that there is a BBQ tonight for the celebration, and all the pack is going to be there," Finlay says coming in. 

 I wasn't looking forward to it. I have never been one to like a lot of attention, and not knowing anyone there is going to make it harder. after I had finished breakfast.

 "Sapphire, I was going to take you around the pack grounds, so you know where everything is, we can do where the boundaries are another day." dad said, "then we need to go see Alpha Liam and Luna Peggy," dad saying almost forgetting.

 "Dad, can I come with you, please," Ruby says with a pleading look on her face. 

"Ok, you can come with us, but you also need to make sure all your things are packed to move back into the packhouse," dad told her. 

After the walk around the grounds, we see Alpha Liam. "Welcome Sapphire, the pack, is like one family we are all here for you if you need anything even if it is just to talk, my lovely Luna Peggy will help as well, we are so glad you are back, shall we take a walk around the packhouse," Alpha Liam says to me.

"This is the kitchen," Alpha says as we start the tour of the packhouse. "There is a sitting room over there, you know where my office is, and Luna's office is just next to mine, please feel free to nock anytime you need to let's go upstairs now, and I can show you our room's," Alpha says as we make our way upstairs.

"Dad, Beta you are needed in your office," this young boy says to Alpha as he came running up to us. 

"Benjamin this is Sapphire, Beta Phillip's daughter Ruby's twin, would you be able to take Sapphire around the pack I need you to show her room it's the one with the connecting door to the next room," Alpha said to Benjamin.

 "Sapphire this is Benjamin, he is my youngest he will show you the rest of the house, I am sorry that I have to leave you here, but I will see you tonight and once again I am glad you are finally back home," Alpha Liam says to me with a smile.

Alpha and dad left us with Benjamin and went back to Alpha's office, and we carried on going upstairs.

"I think it's these bedroom's my dad was on about these are the only one's that I know of with joining door's," Benjamin said to us as we walked into the room.

 After the bedrooms,  they went to the games room it had a pool table and loads of other games. Just as they were coming out of the games room,

"Would you like to go see the library?" Benjamin asked me "Please I love books how many are there," I ask Benjamin. "The gym is opposite the library," Benjamin told us. "There is also a game's room down there, but the rest of the rooms were bedrooms, for the rest of the pack," Benjamin told us.

 Benjamin also took us to the training ground, and that is where we saw dad. He is Alphas Liam's beta, so he was training everyone. That is where Benjamin left us. "Dad would it be ok for Ruby and I go for a run, I promise we will be back in time to get ready for the party," I plead with him giving him a puppy dog look.

 "How can I say no when you look at me like that, ok but don't forget you also need to pack up your room so we can move into the packhouse," he says to Ruby and me. "Thank you," say as I kiss his cheek.

Ruby and I shifted into our wolf forms, and they are identical as well. When we are in our wolfs, our bond is even more substantial. We can even read each other's minds and also see through each other's eyes. It's incredible having Ruby to run with. Sometimes it felt like we had never been apart; I can imagine if we were never apart, our bond would be so much stronger. We ran just for the fun of it. We were even jumping on each other. I know that I have found what has been missing in my life; it was Ruby and the rest of the family, realising this also meant that the pain I felt it more so, I just stopped and curled up in a ball. Then Ruby came over and curled up next to me and put her head over my neck.  

"*Sapphire are you ok you can talk to me if you need to I can feel how upset you are*," Ruby says to me through our link.

 "*With our link and that it's strong and we have only been truly linked for one day if I had hadn't been taken our bond and connection would be a hell of a lot stronger and now knowing what we have missed out of it makes all the pain I feel hurt so much more now*," I say back to her.

 "*Well you are back home now and never going to lose any of us ever again*," Ruby reassures me "*Come on we will go back home I know the best favourite pick me ups, it is fresh made banana bread with toffee ice cream*," she says making me hungry.

When we got back, mum was packing up all the stuff to take over to the packhouse; we were in the kitchen eating. I was still upset and trying to stop crying when mum came in "What's a matter Hunny," mum asks me "We went for a run in wolf form and when Sapphire started to realise on how much we have missed with her been taken and we talked and the pain she is feeling hurt's even more," Ruby tells mum for me as I am finding it hard to talk.

 Not long after mum had seen me, dad walked in. He knew why I was upset as with mum and dad been a mated pair; they had a link and all mated pair's have it. Dad pulled all of us into a big hug. I love how was all love cuddles. There is always something about been wrapped in your parent's arms, feeling like nothing can hurt you. 

"Mum, dad Sapphire and I have a connection even in our human form and how strong it was when we are in wolf form. The more time we spend together, the strong it is and that we can also talk to each other wail we are in wolf form," Ruby told mum and dad. "I have heard of something like this and will talk to Alpha and Luna when I get the chance," Dad says as he gives all three of us a kiss.   

After I was feeling better, "Let's get ready for the party," Ruby said as we walked over to the packhouse as all of our stuff was already over there. I didn't want to go, but I know that everyone wanted to celebrate me been home. Ruby helped me pick what I was wearing, and I loved it. "I will be here all night for you, and I won't leave you," She told me.

 Ruby even did my hair. She wanted to do my makeup, but I wouldn't say I like wearing it much so that I would go without tonight. We got ready in the same room when mum and dad knocked on the door "Can we come in," dad asked. "yeah, you're ok to come in," Ruby says to them. Mum and dad had tears in their eyes and gave us a gift each; "They were meant to be for our fourth birthday, but as you weren't here, we didn't have the heart to give Ruby hers,"  We opened them. There was a neckless each mine had sis with fore underneath Rubys had ters with ver underneath, and when we put them together, they said sisters forever on it we put them on.

Everybody in our family was ready to go; when we got downstairs, "Can we have a word with you please," Alpha asked dad mum Ruby and I. We went into Alpha's office to speak with them as they sat. "I have heard of something like this before, but it's rare as not all twins can do this, is your wolfs identical as well," Luna asked us. "Yeah, we found out that when we shifted this afternoon," Ruby informs Luna. "leave it with me, and I will see what I can find out," Luna says to us. 

We all went to the party it was outside in the back garden of the packhouse everyone was cheering and clapping for us. I know we all are glad I am back, but why all of this?  "everything will be ok, and I will be with you all the time," Ruby says as she rubs my arm smiling at me. We went dancing as I love this music, and that is where we were until the food was ready. We went to get some drinks as well, and we saw conna, so we sat with him and some of Ruby's friends, "Dad, wants you, Sapphire," Camdyn said to me.

When we got to dad, we heard Alpha Liam talking into the mic "Can Phillip, Kay and Sapphire to come up on stage please," Alpha Liam said. I grabbed Rubys hand, and I wasn't going without her. She rubbed the back of my hand, letting me know I'm going to be ok when we got to Alpha. "We are here tonight to celebrate, as my really good friend and beta has his missing daughter home after 14 long years and now we have a whole pack again, so thank you all for coming, I will pass over to Phillip now," Alpha Liam says to everyone.

Then he passed the mic to my dad, and he was almost crying. He told them that the family looked after me, so he thanks them for that, but he is over the moon that I am back now, and he would like it if everyone could take it slow with me as this is all still very new to me and to give me time to know everyone. Dad passed the mic back to Alpha Liam. He was about to thank everyone for coming, and we can get back to dancing when.

 I saw him. He was looking in the eyes. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't take my eyes off him. He came on stage right up to me "Mate," is all he said in front of everyone, I can't think of anything to say or do so I just turned around and ran to my room, locking my door and got under my covers, wondering what was that all about when Ruby came in from her room as we have a door that connects our rooms.

Someone was knocking on my door, but I am not getting out of these covers; Ruby got in behind me, she didn't say anything or even asked me anything. She just put her arm around me and just laid there cuddling me till mum was about to come in from Ruby's room. Still, Ruby stopped her "I will look after Sapphire tonight, and if she needs you I will come to get you," Ruby said to mum. She did let mum come and kiss my head. I tried to stay quiet. I didn't want her to know that I was crying; as she left, she kissed Ruby and said she will tell Cameron to go for now.
