The computer was still on, so Paul decided to check his email. There was a newsletter, from the art site he subscribed to, advertising a portrait drawing course. He clicked on the link, watched the video and read the course description. He hadn’t touched his pencils or any of his watercolours for weeks. He purchased the course and spent the next forty minutes downloading mp4 files so that he could complete the course at his own pace. He liked the self-paced e-learning environment offered by the Internet. As he was shutting down the computer, Matthew came in to say goodnight.
