THE BROKEN-HEARTED PART 2 — EPISODE 1 (Episode 51) The Woman Under the Mansion The Clifford Mansion was unusually quiet. Theo stood at the entrance with Belle beside him. Behind them were Richard, Liana, Sophia, Adrian, Samuel, Daniel, Marcus, and Ethan. Everyone was ready. Theo looked at the message on his phone one more time. “Come downstairs, my grandson. Bring Belle.” Belle squeezed his hand. “Whatever happens, we're together.” Theo looked at her and nodded. “I won't let anyone hurt you.” Richard stepped forward. “Then let's end this.” --- THE HIDDEN BASEMENT Daniel opened the old mansion blueprint. “There should be a passage behind this wall.” Theo pushed the hidden panel. CLICK. A narrow staircase appeared. They slowly walked down. One floor. Then another. Then another. At the bottom was a massive steel door. Liana looked at it. “There's no handle.” Samuel pointed at Theo. “Because it recognizes the heir.” Theo placed his hand against the door. BEEP. The door opened. Cold air rushed toward them. Belle moved closer to Theo. “What is this place?” Theo looked around. “This was hidden beneath my home.” --- THE WOMAN WAITING At the end of the underground chamber stood an old woman. She was sitting calmly in a chair. Her white hair was tied neatly behind her. She looked at Theo. And smiled. “You finally came.” Theo froze. “You're my great-grandmother.” The woman nodded. “Yes.” Richard stepped forward. “You should have been dead.” She laughed softly. “So many people in this family have been declared dead.” She looked at Alexander. Then Sophia. Then Samuel. “Yet here we are.” Theo's voice became cold. “Why did you bring me here?” Her smile disappeared. “Because you are the last Clifford heir.” --- THE TRUTH ABOUT THE CROWN She pointed toward a glass case. Inside was an ancient black crown. Theo stared at it. “That isn't the Crown Ariana had.” “No.” “Then what is it?” “The original.” Everyone became silent. Liana whispered: “That's impossible.” The great-grandmother shook her head. “No. The Crown you saw before was only a copy.” Theo stepped closer. “What does the original do?” She looked directly at him. “It doesn't give you power.” “Then what?” “It gives you a choice.” --- THE CHOICE Theo frowned. “What choice?” She answered: “Destroy your family's legacy…” She pointed toward the Crown. “…or inherit it.” Belle immediately said: “He won't choose power.” The great-grandmother looked at her. “You speak for him?” Belle shook her head. “No. I know him.” Theo smiled slightly. “She knows me better than anyone.” The old woman studied Belle. Then she smiled. “That's exactly why I brought you here.” Theo's expression changed. “What do you want from Belle?” She answered: “Nothing.” A pause. “Yet.” --- THE FINAL WARNING Suddenly, the underground chamber began shaking. Daniel checked his device. “Someone breached the mansion.” Marcus immediately prepared himself. “Who?” Daniel looked at the screen. “Multiple people.” Theo looked at his great-grandmother. “You knew this would happen.” She nodded. “Yes.” “Who is attacking us?” She looked toward the ceiling. Then quietly said: “The people who want you dead before you become the final heir.” Theo grabbed Belle's hand. “Everyone stay together.” Then the lights went out. A voice echoed through the underground chamber. “Theo Clifford…” Theo looked around. The voice continued: “Welcome to Part Two.” A gunshot echoed above them. BANG! Theo pulled Belle behind him.
