“I can walk. It’s quite alright, Dr. N-Müller.” I bit my lip. Dr. Nicholson furrowed his brow at the near mix-up of his name. Then, he offered a wide smile. He was practically laughing at me. “What kind of a gentleman would I be if I allowed a young, beautiful girl like you to walk alone?” Jonas opened the rear passenger door.
