"Of course I will," Edward said to her as he bent her head down a little bit and tried to claim her lips in a passionate kiss, but immediately the door of the sitting room burst open, and with that Amelia and Edward quickly disengaged from each other like two teenagers who were caught kissing each other.

As the door of the sitting room burst open, a young lady immediately barged inside, only to see Edward and Amelia, who were about to kiss but quickly disengaged from each other due to her intrusion.
"Oh oh, did I interrupt anything?" The young lady asked as she realised the gravity of what she had just done.
