I was in my room going through the paperwork Jeremy dropped for me to review. Even though I told him to do so, he stubbornly refused and dropped the paper before walking off, ranting about how I was neglecting my Alpha role.
The door suddenly burst open, and I let out a sigh of relief that he had changed his mind to come to solve the paperwork, but instead, Jasmine walked into the room, her eyes swollen and scarlet red, and tears were staining all over her cheeks. Her eyes glistened with tears, and I could see the drama unfolding. She began crying as soon as she saw me.
