An Alpha and A king

It's been 7 long days since William left the pack to go on his business trip. He left for Europe to meet with some of the alpha's who had packed over there. To create some kind of alliance between our pack and there's. It's been hard to be without my mate. Since the day we mate 1,5 years again we haven't been separated, not even for a day. Every time he had to go on a trip I was there. We always joked it was our little getaway from pack life. Even though he needed to attend pack business. But he always made sure to give me enough attention and yay a lot of amazing s*x. I mean a girl has needs right? I softly laugh at the memories and make a mental note to let him take me with him on the next trip. It's been a couple of months since we've been all alone. I turn around in our bed so I'm faching his pillow and try to make out some of his scent. But with the days gone by his scent started to disappear more and more. I sniff one more time to try and smell him but give up when I see the time on the clock, 6.00 am. I need to get up soon, people will start to wake up and they expect me to be awake too. Even more now that their Alpha is gone. Just one more day and night and he will be home again. I reminded myself. I just need to get through one more day. I take a deep breath and left the warm bed to get ready in the bathroom. Last night I already laid down my clothes so it was not that much of a work. After a quick shower I got dressed in some work out clothes for the morning. It's Wednesday, so that means I will be with the pack warriors for most of the morning. See how they are doing on training and get some training in myself. My hair I put up into a simple pony tail and before I leave the bathroom i studie myself in the mirror for a moment. Yes this has to do I think and leave the bathroom to go downstairs. While I walk down the stairs to the first floor I try to link my wolf Maze. Who has been very quiet since waking up Maze are you there? Why won’t you talk to me? Is everything alright? Do I need to worry about something? Please just say something? I thought of some more things to her and even tried to ‘search’ for her in my mind. But it was just one black hole and she didn't want to answer me. -- SEVEN DAYS AGO -- ‘’Are you sure you want me to stay here?’’ I Questioned William once more while slowly moving one of my fingers or his chest. He was looking good today with his messy hair and his black suit. If he wasn't leaving I would have taken him upstairs back to our room again. He laughed a little while catching my finger and bringing it to his mouth to kiss it. ‘’Yes, I'm sure my love. The pack needs there Luna. It’s a pretty long trip. If something happens they will have their Luna with them.’’ He answered ‘’I know Matthew is still here and he is capable of looking after our pack. But i still want you here, safe..’’ I pulled my lip down and looked like a little child who didn't get her way. For a moment I wanted to beg him to take me with him but he was already shaking his head trying to hold back his laughter. He was definitely feeling what I was feeling. Both his hands reached up towards my face and he cupped both of my cheeks. ‘’I know..’’ he started. ‘’I’m scared too. I don’t like leaving for such a long time and not being able to feel you throughout the bond. But it’s for the best. I promise you I will make it up to you when I come back Mrs Turner’’ And before I can even reply he pulls me closer and presses his lips onto mine. One of his hands slides down and finds its way to my butt. For a moment we kiss but it ends too soon. ‘’It’s a good thing you're cute Mr Alpha, otherwise I would have looked you up in the dungeons’’ His laugh fills the hallway and he kisses my cheek once more before turning around and leaving the pack house. ‘’See you later kid’’ he says and with that the doors fall shut behind him’’ ‘’Luna are you alright?’’ I hear a man’s voice ask me. ‘’HmHm’’ I answered but still not quite here but more with the memory of William leaving me. The man next to me tries to hold in his laugh and just shakes his head for a moment before tapping me on the shoulder. ‘’I’m sorry to disturb you in your day dream Luna. But we should head down to the dining room to have some breakfast.’’ He tries once more without much success ‘’Yes breakfast sounds good..’’ I mumble, still not sure about my surroundings. Wait what breakfast? Suddenly something clicks in my mind and I'm brought back to the present day and I look into two brown eyes. ‘’Wait what? What did you say Oliver?’’ The man before me is laughing now, and hard. ‘’Well I'm glad I entertained you so much. But I'm heading downstairs to have some breakfast. We have a long day ahead’’ I say to him before walking down the stairs towards the dining room. The laughing behind my back stops and I hear him coming down after me and he follows me into the dining room. I sit down at my usual stop and the man who just followed me sits done at my left. ‘’I’m sorry for laughing at you Luna, you just looked a bit funny while day dreaming’’ he tried to explain to me. ‘’It’s okay Oliver, you’re forgiven. But next time… I'm not so nice’’ I say in my Luna voice. A smile plays on his lips and he throws his hand up in surrender. ‘’I will behave like a good little pup’’ he says smirking. ‘’Oh and before I forget. You forgot this last night on the deck’’ He hands me over a brown ring planner. I look down at the little notebook and smile. ‘’Yes right, thank you.’’ I take the planner from him and open it to see what kind of appointments I've got today. While i ruffel through the pages the couple of omegas who run the kitchen are starting to bring out the food and set everything on the table. The dining room suddenly starts to fill with some more pack members who are chatting and laughing away while I still look through my planner and write something down here and there. Trying to avoid most talks and questions. I just didn't feel like talking this morning. After 20 minutes I stood up and looked down at Oliver. ‘’I’m leaving for the training grounds’’ i started ‘’And will meet you back here for lunch. If I can find my way back and don’t start day dreaming again’’ I joked before leaving. The moment I closed the door of the pack house I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. For a moment I just stood there enjoying the sun on my face. Taking in the warmth of the sun on my skin. Forgetting everything I need to do today and just enjoying the moment. Would be a good day to go for a run and let Maze have some fun I think. Wait Maze.. I try once again to connect with her. ‘’Please Maze, talk to me..’’ i think and for a couple of minutes it quit. But then suddenly something starts to move and I can feel her coming forward again. But she feels different, like something is happening. ‘’Maze whats wrong?’’ I try once again. ‘’I’m sorry i’ve been quiet since you woke up.’’ she starts. ‘’But there has been this feeling of.. I don't know. I’ve been trying to get in contact with Logan for some time. But they are just too far away for me to reach out. And i really don’t like it at all.’’ I sigh and nodd. Since William left the country I haven't been able to feel him, and Maze hasn't been able to feel Logan. Williams wolf. Which has been pretty frustrating for both of us. ‘’I’m sure they are both alright. I mean we just called last night before bed and they seemed good’’ I tried to resure her. But she doesn't really want to listen to me and just shakes her head a bit. ‘’I’m telling you Ella, something is wrong. I don’t know how I know. But I just know’’ she says once more. I sigh and try not to think too much about it and just follow my way towards the training grounds for a long morning. The moment I step off the training ground something in the air changes. I stand still for a moment and try to sniff the air, figuring out what is happening. But before I can make my way towards to pack house, Oliver mind links me. ‘’Luna Alpha Sasha Mason is at the gates. He wants permission to enter our land’’ Wait Alpha Sasha? I think for a moment. Isn't he one of the Alphas William was about to meet in Paris? I seemed lost in my thoughts before I felt Oliver coming through again. ‘’Luna?’’ he asks me. I shake my head for a moment to clear my mind and finally answer him ‘’Yes of course you can let him through. ‘’I’m not like this one bit’’ Maze whispers in my head. ‘’Something is so so wrong..’’ I agree with her but let my feet take me up to the pack house where I wait with Oliver for the Alpha to arrive..
