Chapter 41- Life Without Val
Johnny POV I walk out of the hospital devastated. I cannot believe that I have lost Val, she is dead and there is nothing that I can do. I am not even allowed to see the body. I tried to go down to the morgue and at least say my goodbyes but I was turned away. We all were. I told those in the waiting room that she had passed before I came out here, and the devastation on their faces was too much for me to bare. I end up walking along the road and into town, it takes me a long time but I aimlessly make my way towards the town. When I am in the town my eyes are caught by bright lights, ‘The Wolf Club’, huh, inventive name. The name may suck but at least I know that I can get rid of this feeling here. I walk into the club and walk straight up to the bar and sit on one of the bar stools.
