Chapter 42- Gone Again
Xander POV I had left the hospital in a huff after dealing with the lack of response from Xavier, but then a pack member who was in the waiting room mind linked me a few hours later and told me that Alpha Johnny had come into the waiting room and informed them that Val was dead. No one saw the body, no one even saw it being moved but there on her medical records was her time of death. What am I supposed to do? Man up, get up and lead this pack in her honor. Besides, something tells me there is more at play here than we know about. Danny replies to my inner monologue. What do you mean? I don’t know, but something tells me there is a chance that this is only the beginning and that if she does come back to use then she is going to need us and our pack at full strength. But she is dead.
