Chapter 43- Waking Up
Val POV Pain. Darkness. Pain. Darkness. They are the only things that have been with me for what feels like forever. I have no idea how long it has been since the moon goddess visited me. I have just been laying here in the darkness in so much pain that my screams are silent, my throat is dry and my tears have long since stopped falling. The pain may be constant but that does not mean that I have gotten used to it. Every time I move, even a muscle, the wave of pain becomes to much. I don’t even understand how I have been able to stay in one position for so long. It feels like I have been here for months, maybe even years. The moon goddess said that I had a choice, and at the moment I don’t want to return as the pain is just too much to handle. But I also want to see Johnny and our
