“Xavier!” Steven shouts at me.
“What?” I ask, turning around to speak to him.
“Have you heard about Val?” he asks me.
“No, why? What’s happened?” My mind quickly goes back to the other day when I met with her again, it had been so long since I had seen her and she has changed so much.
“She is in the hospital, sir. She was attacked by some rogues when she left Alpha Xanders territory.”
