"For god's sake! You saw how she reacted!" I threw my hands in the air, "I can't believe you are asking me this."
"Jake, she won't kill you." My mom says calmly, "She said that you can stay. At least stay here until you find a hotel room. But you came here unprepared and I am not going to let you wander the streets looking for a hotel to stay in, in the middle of summer, especially when I know that you won't find one."
"Gee, thanks mom." I huffed and turned around toward my bag and I took a good look at it. "No, I am not going to. I can't do it."
