Jake's POV
We managed to make it to the kitchen without anyone catching us. And she needs to lead the way to this back door that she claims there is because I have no idea where it is.
"So?" I turned around and asked her, "Where is it?"
"I want us to take the car." She clearly has changed her mind and she guides me to the front door.
She takes the keys off of the counter and she is about to open the door but we hear my mom's voice through the door.
"I am home now and I will look for her."
Emily turns around and pushes me back. She opens a door and she urges me to move a step inside and I do. She turns around to close the door, and she ends up colliding into me, causing me to momentarily lose my balance. I stumble backwards in between what I am assuming are hanged coats, all the while
