Chapter 1 Assassination mission failed.
A woman dressed in black leather aimed her sniper rifle at a window across the street. Through her binoculars, Eliza observed the scene inside the room: a shirtless man lay on the bed while a sultry woman danced seductively for him, the atmosphere thick with tension. Eliza put down her binoculars, lit a cigarette, and exhaled a slow stream of smoke. "Mr. Andrews, enjoy your last moments. Soon, you'll be leaving this world," she murmured. Suddenly, a hand blocked her view. Eliza turned to see a devilishly handsome face. Blake took the binoculars, looked at the room across, and clicked his tongue. "Eliza, this guy's bedroom skills are mediocre. If he knew these were his final moments, he might appreciate them more." "Blake, this mission is mine. Stay out of it!" Eliza's tone was cold as she frowned. "Haha, you don't understand my heart. I can't stand being away from you for even a moment," Blake said, putting down the binoculars and looking at her with deep affection. "Eliza, do you believe that my bedroom skills are amazing? Every woman who's been with me can't forget me." "Blake, I don't want to hear this nonsense. Please, be quiet, okay?" Blake suddenly wrapped his arm around Eliza's slender waist. He could imagine how soft and smooth her skin was, just as he had expected. The touch was incredible. "Eliza, how about dating me? Many women would kill for this chance," Blake whispered, his face close to hers, his tone suggestive. Eliza didn't move, allowing him to hold her waist. Her expression was calm and elegant, unaffected by his charm. She smiled lightly, "Mr. Blake, it's not that I'm not giving you a chance; you're just not my type." "Eliza, you're so heartless. What kind of man do you like? I'll change it for you. In this world, I've only ever loved you. No woman compares to you." "Hahaha, Blake, I'm not a naive girl anymore. If I could still be swayed by your looks and words at my age, I wouldn't be Eliza. Keep your sincerity to yourself; I need to get back to work." Eliza took a drag of her cigarette, but Blake quickly took it from her, placing it to his lips and inhaling deeply. "Eliza, I don't like you smoking. It's bad for your health," Blake's eyes flashed with a complicated emotion, making Eliza pause for a moment, unsure if it was genuine affection. She was the second-ranked assassin in their organization, known as "Miss Nightshade." Outwardly gentle, she was deadly underneath, her enchanting smile often being her most lethal weapon. Blake, the top-ranked male assassin, was nicknamed "The Charming Rogue." "Alright, Blake, you can leave now. I need to focus on my work," Eliza said, dismissing him. Blake masked his disappointment with his usual carefree demeanor. "Alright, babe, I'll go for now. Don't miss me too much!" “I’m heading to Las Vegas for a few days. When I get back, let’s go skiing in Switzerland!” Blake announced with a grin. “Let’s talk about it when you get back,” Eliza replied, focusing on her gear and shifting her mind into battle mode. Blake watched her, taking in her pure and delicate face, not wanting to miss a moment before he left. “Blake, if you don’t leave now, you’ll miss your flight. Hurry up and go,” Eliza urged her tone firm. “Eliza, I’m leaving. Best of luck with your mission. Don’t miss me too much while I’m gone.” Eliza rolled her eyes. “Just go already. When have I ever failed a mission?” Blake walked away but quickly turned back, grabbing her shoulders and pressing his lips to hers. Before Eliza could land a punch, Blake had already slipped away. “Blake, remember this! One day, I’ll rip your lips off for kissing me after kissing other women!” “Eliza, it’s just my uncontrollable urge to kiss you. You’ll have to forgive me!” Blake laughed as he disappeared out the door. Eliza shook her head and got back to work, not knowing that her mission would take an unexpected turn. When Eliza arrived at the hotel across the street, she was dressed as a hotel staff member. The fitted black uniform accentuated her perfect figure, and her long curls were pinned up in a neat bun. She exuded a striking elegance. Eliza avoided all surveillance cameras and reached Mr. Andrews’ door. She set down the food cart and knocked gently. After a while, the door opened, revealing the seductive dancer from earlier. “Room service,” Eliza said with a warm smile. The woman gave Eliza a dismissive glance before yawning and turning back into the room. Eliza wheeled the cart inside, her nose wrinkling at the heavy scent of post-coital sweat. As she set the food out, she scanned the room quickly. The sound of running water came from the bathroom where Mr. Andrews was showering. This was her chance. “Hurry up and get out,” the woman said, turning back suspiciously. “I’m almost done,” Eliza replied, nodding. As the woman turned away again, Eliza seized the moment. With a swift chop to the neck, she knocked the woman out cold. Eliza drew a silenced silver pistol from her back and moved to the bathroom door. She fired several shots through the glass, creating holes and splattering blood. Everything was going too smoothly. Just as she turned, a cold barrel pressed against her forehead. “You were too careless, Miss Wild Rose.” the woman snarled, her eyes now fierce and triumphant. A shirtless man emerged from the bathroom. He wasn’t Mr. Andrews—he was a decoy. He too pointed a gun at Eliza’s head and sneered. “I’ve heard a lot about you, Miss Wild Rose. But I’m afraid this is where your story ends. We were paid well by Mr. Andrews to take you out.” Eliza remained silent, her mind racing for a way out. As the man’s finger began to squeeze the trigger, the woman interrupted. “Wait, Alistair. We can’t let her off that easily.” She still remembered the last mission, when Eliza's intervention cost them millions. This grudge could not go unavenged! Letting someone die would be too easy on them. She couldn't let Eliza off that easily! "Hui, what do you want to do?" the man asked. Hui smiled, turning to the small cabinet by the bed. When she reappeared in front of Eliza, she had a syringe filled with a white liquid. She quickly injected the liquid into Eliza's slender arm. Eliza's forehead was still pressed against the cold barrel of the gun; her own gun had already been taken. "Defeated and disarmed, what did you inject me with? Drugs or something else?" "Even better than drugs. This stuff will make you feel like you're dying from ecstasy, high out of your mind..." Eliza cursed silently. Damn! Had she been injected with an aphrodisiac?! Hui took out her phone and dialed a number. "A Bao, where are you? Bring more men. We have a stunning beauty here who needs your attention. Bring as many men as you can. She...needs...love! Hahaha!" After hanging up, Hui sneered at Eliza, "Don't worry, your antidote will be here soon. They're very experienced; they'll make sure you feel every bit of it!" "You'd better kill me, or I won't let you off!" Eliza said coldly. "Still talking tough at this point? A Ze, what do you think the famous Wild Rose looks like when she gets all hot and bothered? Haha, I'm quite curious!" "Hui, stop it. Let me finish her off with one shot and avoid any trouble!" "Don't be such a coward! A Ze, we've disarmed her; what could she possibly do?" Eliza felt a heat rising within her, growing more intense. It was consuming her, filling her with a strange sensation. The void inside her was becoming unbearable, desperately needing to be filled... A sheen of sweat covered her fair skin, her clear eyes clouded with deep desire... She desperately needed to be filled! Her desire-filled eyes turned towards the only man in the room—A Ze! Hui frowned in displeasure, pressing the gun harder against Eliza's forehead. "Behave yourself. A Ze, go check where A Bao and the others are. Wild Rose, once they’ve had their fun, I’ll send you on your way!" Eliza couldn't resist the effects of the drug, her hands moving involuntarily to caress her own body. Her pure face and fiery figure made for an irresistible sight... "Damn it! You men can't even keep an eye on a woman who's been drugged. Useless!" "Boss, she's not just any woman. She's the famous Wild Rose. Who would've thought she'd jump from the twenty-second floor!" "Slap—" Hui slapped A Bao hard. "Go find her. If you don't bring back her body, don't bother coming back!" "Yes, ma'am!" A Bao and his men quickly left the room. Eliza had told her, you’d better kill me, or I won’t let you off! Thinking of Eliza's words, Hui felt a sudden chill. She had no idea that in a few days, she would deeply regret today's decision! This was a seven-star hotel, home to not only notorious drug lord Andrew but also other wealthy and powerful figures. Fortunately, Eliza had enough experience. She landed on the third floor's air conditioning unit, the impact sending jolts of pain through her body, making her feel as though she was falling apart. At this moment, she was on the brink of collapse, burning up with an unbearable heat. She struggled to open the nearest room’s window and crawled inside. She knew that with the aphrodisiac in her system, she would die without a man to save her! Thinking of Blake, the playboy who would surely have a way to help her, Eliza fumbled for her phone in her jacket pocket and called him. To her dismay, the phone went unanswered. No one picked up! Eliza suddenly remembered that scoundrel was likely on a flight to Las Vegas. Searching through her contacts, she realized she had no other male friends, only Blake, and his phone was not answering! Eliza forced her weakened body to stand. She needed to find an antidote—should she look for a male escort in the hotel or find a random man on the street? As she approached the door, the entrance to the presidential suite opened from the outside.
