Jay had been looking forward to this day so much. He was so excited he was finally going to meet up with Ella. They were to meet up at the mall and then drive up to Jay's house. Ella didn't Know that Jay lived in the house across the street. So at around 10 am, she was ready to head out to their meeting place. She was surprised to meet Jay at the gate.
Ella looked confused and mad at the same time.
"How did you know where I live," Ella asked angrily.
"Don't be mad, I can explain," Jay said
"Are you by any chance spying on me?"She said as she started to work back to the house." I'm disappointed with you, we can't do this." she added
"I'm not spying on you, I lived at the house across the street and I saw you drove home yesterday after school."He tried to explain himself. He was scared of crossing parts with him this soon.
Ella stopped walking when he heard him say that." I'm sorry I didn't think there could be a chance we lived on the same street."
"It's okay. There's no need to apologize." They walked to Jay's house in silence.
"Wow, your house looks good," Ella said admiring the paintings on the wall. The walls were painted white and everything was arranged in order. The family photos were neatly arranged in one place.
"Thank you," Jay said as he showed her around the house. They finally got to the study room where they'll be practicing. Ella couldn't get enough of the views she'd seen. She was so impressed, although their house was beautiful, it couldn't be compared to Jay's.
"Shall we start," They went through the script severally until they decided to take a break. The scene was so intense that it made them nervous. At some point, Jay had to excuse himself. It was affecting him so much that he had a crush on Ella.
"I can order pizza for lunch that's if you are comfortable with it, I don't know how to cook," Jay said laughing. He had told his nannies to take a weekend off and he'll see them on Monday. He wanted to spend the weekend alone. So there was no one to prepare the meals for him.
Ella said that she was okay with it. While they waited for pizza, they talked about several things. Jay told him about his family and how he lost his brother, on the other hand, Ella told Jay how her mother died while giving birth to her.
"I'm sorry that you lost your mother."
"It's okay thank you, I'm used to this life now," Ella said
"How did you grow and cop up with that?"Jay wanted to know more. She felt so sorry for her.
"My father hired a full-time nanny, she took care of me as if I was her child. When my father got a job here we had to move to this place."
"And why didn't she come with you?"
"I believe I'm old enough to talk care of myself," she said laughing. "She also has her own family to take care of back there."She added
" I'll always be here whenever you need a friend or anything."
" I appreciate but I'm doing just fine."
It was the first day together and they had known so much about each other. Ella went back home satisfied with the practice they had done. She was sure they'll win.
As soon as she left, Jay called Mike and Davies to go over to his house. He wanted to update them on how the practice went.
"Did you two kiss?"Mike asked as soon as he stepped into the house.
"Are you crazy? I couldn't get myself into doing it.
"You've let us down, it was the only chance of accomplishing our mission," Davies said
Jay knew that if she kiss her, she'll get mad and chances of getting her would be minimal. He decided to be patient and look for a way of executing his plan of having her as her girlfriend.
"I had to control myself, I couldn't mess on our first day."Jay tried to defend himself
"If you could have kissed her we would have won against Dan already."
"I can't let you guys down. You have to trust me,"
The days passed on so well and after the presentation of the play, Jay and Ella were the winners. Jay was so excited and he decided to throw a party to celebrate. He was planning to invite only the members of his class. This was to make sure Ashley wouldn't be there. He was trying as much as possible to avoid her.
winning the play meant that the winners were to travel to the destination of their choice to spend the weekend. Everything including the flight ticket was fully paid for by the school. The school always arranged such kinds of events to make sure the students fully participate in the school's activities.
