Chapter 2-Ella

880 Words
Jay woke up very early as usual and prepared to go to school. Something seemed off but he couldn't figure out what it was. He just got out of bed and rushed to the bathroom, he did his usual morning routine. Then wore casual black trousers, a white sweatshirt, his most expensive chain, and a Rolex watch. He loved dressing neatly. That was his weakness. He then went downstairs to grab some breakfast. When he got there, his parents were not at the table. He asked his nanny about them but he was told they left early for a business trip. He took the note they had left and went through it. "Another one-week trip?" he said "But they will be back soon." his nanny responded. He was used to being around his parents. His parents owned a very lucrative business in the country. They were among the richest people in the country. His father always wanted him to take over the business but he wasn't into it. He wanted something else but he didn't have an option, being the only son he had to take over. Not in the mood for breakfast, he grabbed his car keys and left. Jay got into his Porsche car and drove off. This was his favorite car, which was gifted on his 18th birthday. Driving this car made him feel so good. He parked the car in his usual spot, hopped out, and walked towards the lecture halls. He walked to class to find mike and Davies already there. "Hey guys, you are early today, what's up?" he asked "And you are late." mike responded."I was keeping Davies here up to date with the incidents that happened recently," he said sarcastically. Jay knew what he was talking about. "Just forget about that s**t, I don't want to have problems with Ash because of an imaginary girl. Maybe I was too drunk." "I wish I was there, it must have been an incredible experience for you," Davies said laughing "For the first time, a girl has control over you. I have never seen you this way men" mike added "Shut the f**k up!" he said. He was always in control and he didn't like what they were telling him. He hated that she made him weak that night. She kissed him and he didn't do anything. He allowed it to happen The tutor entered the class and he saved the day. At least he wasn't going to be lectured by them now, maybe later though. "So today we are going to learn about a very interesting topic. I know most of you have gone through such a situation. you are working on a project and then all of a sudden you run out of ideas and get stuck. Where can you draw your inspiration to carry on......" the tutor was saying when he was interrupted by a knock on the door. He was a very tough guy, in his mid-fifties he already had grey hair. He hated when he was being bothered during his lesson. "Come in" he roared."you are late." "Am sorry, I got lost." a girl responded. Jay raised his head to see who it was. He couldn't believe what he saw. wiped his eyes severally to make sure whatever he was seeing was real. "It's her!" he muttered "you are new here?" the tutor asked "yes sir, my name is Ella," she responded politely Her name confirmed it all. He remembers her friend calling her by that name at the club before dragging her out. "Welcome to Hawkin college miss Ella." the tutor said Jay stared at her as she took her seat at the back of the class with Fay. "It's the girl from the club," jay whispered to mike "What! are you serious?" he responded " Mike and jay, do you mind sharing with the class what you two are discussing?" the tutor asked as he walked in their direction To save himself from being thrown out of class, he dropped the pen without him noticing, so he told him that he was telling Mike to pass the pen that had fallen. A few moments later the class ended. "Were you serious about what you said back then?" mike asked "of course, or am I dreaming?" "Maybe you are," Davies responded pinching him so hard "Are you kidding me," Jay said in so much pain "That hurts." "I guess you are not dreaming." davies responded as they walked out of class. They met with Fay and Ella in the corridor talking. She was trying to show her around and tell her more about the school. "Hello, Fay." Jay greeted her and stood there as he waited for her to respond. Ella didn't even look at them. she was busy staring at her phone. Jay thought maybe she didn't remember what happened that night or was just pretending. "Do you think she remembers?" mike asked as they walked away. "I doubt, she was so drunk that night," he responded "But that girl Is a goddess, just look at how people are staring at her," Davies said " She is for sure." mike responded He stared in her direction for a while hoping she would recognize him and then walked away.
