Badboy's Redemption.

CHAPTER 1-HAWKIN COLLEGE

"Hey buddy, thinking about me." mike said

"Why should I think about you?" Jay responded without looking up.

"What's with the attitude?"

"Nothing am just bored that the schools are open. The holidays were short."

"yeah, the holidays were crazy men! Do you think we should skip school?"

"We are already here jerk, we can't leave. And have you seen Davies?"

"He isn't here yet, you know he never comes to school on the first day," Mike responded

"We should probably head to class the first lesson is about to begin," Jay said

They walked to class talking and laughing loudly. They didn't care that the other classes were already in session.

"I heard that there's a meeting for the volleyball players after school, will attend?" mike asked

"I can't miss it. I love volleyball more than anything. I can't wait for the competitions to begin."

"We are taking back the trophy this year," Jay added.

"Jay!" someone called from behind

He knew whose voice it was. Ashley and Jay had been dating since freshman. They were everyone's envy and people referred to them as the best couples. Turned around to greet her.

"How are you?" He asked giving her a tight hug.

"Am fine I missed you "Ashley responded

" I missed you more, you know!"He told her holding her hand.

"Can we maybe talk over coffee after school?" She said

"That's a great idea, but I have other plans after school."

"Oh really, this is what we always do after we resume school."

"look! I don't want to argue with you. I'll talk to you later." He told her and left

"That was wired," Ashley said

"I thought so too, that's unlike him, "Arya said.

Arya was Ashley's best friend They'd been each other's keepers since freshman.

The tutor was already in class when they got in. He told of how they would be busy this year since it is their final year. Jay's mind kept wandering around. He couldn't get the image of the girl who kissed him at the club out of his mind. She was around 5.7 feet tall, her hair was mercury red and it crashed over her shoulders. she had sweet lips which were lilac soft and tasted like a strawberry sweet. She whispered to him in a dulcet voice as sweet as a songbird before she kissed him, and her aroma of cinnamon and Meadow fresh mint lingered in the room long after she left. He could still feel her aroma in his nose.

" Hey buddy, have been calling you for minutes. What's happening." mike asked worryingly

"Am sorry, I spaced out." jay responded

"Don't you give me that, I need to know what's going on with you. you've been acting wired "

Okay, you win. I'll tell you over lunch." he told Mike as we walked out of the auditorium

They headed to the cafeteria for lunch. Since it was their final year, they decided to change their sitting spot. They have been sitting in the same spot all through. Jay ordered a burger while mike ordered a Reuben sandwich. As they were still taking lunch, Ashley entered the cafeteria with her friend Arya, Jay signaled her to go to their table but she ignored him.

"Do you think she's mad at me? " Jay asked

"You expect her to be happy after you talked to her rudely? "

"What do you want me to do. ?"

"Go over there and apologize to her."

"I can't do that."

"But why? you have been apologizing. Ashley doesn't deserve what you are doing to her. She has been there and sacrificed a lot of you men!" mike said. He was disappointed in him

"Or what happened over the holidays?" he added

"Nothing happened," he said

"If nothing happened get your ass up and go apologise to your girlfriend," he said. He didn't have any option. But mike was right. They have been through so much with Ashley and he couldn't let her down.

"Hey Ash, am sorry about earlier,"

"Why are you being this way? Don't you love me anymore," she asked without looking at him

"I was a jerk .please forgive me," he asked

"It's fine," she said without adding another word. He knew she was still mad at him. He didn't want to create any more problems.

"I have a volleyball meeting after school, can I take you out after that?" he told her

"Sure. that would be great." she finally smiled. He felt good seeing her that way. Jay kissed her on the lips and went back to his sit to finish lunch
