Ava's POV The grip on me loosened instantly. A calm, controlled voice cut through the chaos. "These are the two. They’re the kidnappers the police have been looking for." Security guards rushed in from all sides, their scents sharp with authority and tension. They grabbed both the man and the old woman, pinning them down despite their frantic struggles. "Let go of us!" "You’ve got the wrong people!" Their voices turned desperate again, but the performance was cracking now. I could smell their fear. The man thrashed wildly as a folded paper was held up in front of him by none other than Anderson. He stood there, composed as ever, holding a wanted poster. "Isn’t this you two?" he said coolly. "I’ve already called the police. Everyone here just witnessed you attempting a kidnapping."
