Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

Should I make another make-up content? But what make-up inspo should I make?

Marielle was busy brainstorming for her next content this afternoon when she received a mysterious black package and when she opened it, it was a beautiful ancient-looking box.

Woah, who sent me this? This looks old yet still a very well-preserved box.

She decided to open the box after examining and be amazed by how pretty the box was. But as soon as the box was opened, a powdered substance was released in the air and suffocated her. It felt like there’s something wrong with that powder. She knew she was in danger, but she couldn’t do anything as she couldn’t move her body, and her vision became blurry, and it’s getting harder for her to breathe.

HELP!

She can only say it to her mind and then she passes out.

A mysterious old man appeared and grabbed the opened box and said, “I’m sorry I need to do this. This is your destiny; you can’t escape it. I wish you good luck.” Then disappeared with the box.

hmmmm

“Oh heavens! She’s finally waking up!”

“Quick! Tell his majesty she’s awake!”

She frowned on the voices that she’s hearing.

Did I leave my tv open again? What am I watching this time? She thought

She opened her eyes and saw random ladies in weird clothes staring at her worriedly. She was confused, so she closed her eyes again. She must be dreaming right? She opened her eyes once more, but the weird ladies were still there.

“Aahh!”, she screamed.

What the hell is happening?!

“Who the hell are you huh? What do you want from me?! And why are you dressed like that huh? Is this a part of your tricks?! Is this some prank?!”, she yelled at the ladies in the room and started to walk around franticly, then halted when she realized she was not in her own room. Her jaw dropped when she scanned the whole room.

The room was decorated with beautiful corals and shells with a hint of gold and blue. It was very beautiful yet ancient-looking. It feels like she was in a room that’s for a princess who loves the sea.

She’s trying to think about what’s happening when the door suddenly opened and revealed an old man in a king suit.

“She really is awake!” he said as he walked fast to her and hugged her.

As surprised as she is, she pushed him away and the man was shocked, and the ladies in the room as well also looked shocked about what she did. The man looked he was in pain and teary eyed when she pushed him.

“Who are you? And where the hell am I?”, she spoke nervously

The man is confused. “What are you talking about, dear? Can’t you remember your father, the king? And you are in our palace, your room to be exact.” The man explained.

“Father? King? Daughter? Wait, palace?! My room?! This is not my room and you’re not my father!”, she shouted “Whatever prank you’re making is not funny anymore so stop it and tell me the truth that all of this is just a stupid joke!”

Everyone gasped to what she said and started murmuring “the princess doesn’t remember anything since the accident, poor lady.”

The doctor arrived and examined her right away. “Everything seems normal, your majesty. The princess has fully recovered, but it seems like she’s suffering from memory loss as she was unconscious for long.” The doctor explained.

While she was still confused on what’s going on, her “father” told her that all of this was real, and she needed time to process everything, and the fact that she had just woken up from a tragic incident 10 months ago, and she needed time to rest and leaves, along with everyone in the room.

Still dumbfounded, she couldn’t help but sit helplessly on her bed and crying thinking about everything that had happened since she had just woken up.

Am I still dreaming? When will this come to an end?

When she finally calmed down, she went to the bathroom to refresh herself. Well, in all fairness, the room has everything she needed, except for the tv, computer and camera. Her room also has its own bathroom, so she doesn’t have to go out.

“Aah! Oh my god!”

Good heavens! She was shocked the moment she saw herself in the mirror. She looked very different. Although she still looks the same in the real world, yet her features were enhanced. Her brown eyes became purple, her short hair became long, a bit wavy and it’s blue! And her skin is glowing, as if she always goes to beauty salon to treat her skin.

What the actual hell?

After freshening up, she roamed the room once more, she saw that there’s a mini library in the corner of the room.

Looks like this body loves reading as well. I’ll spend some time later reading these books.

Then she saw a balcony and opened it. She can’t believe what she’s seeing. It was magical! The place was at the bottom of the ocean. Compared to the belief that it’s dark in the bottom of the ocean in real world, in this world, the ocean deep is alive! The place is very bright, the palace has a protective bubble-like barrier keeping the palace dry. And outside the barrier, you can see ocean creatures swimming and playing around.

Giant turtles, schools of fish, whales, jellyfish and even mermaids and mermen were there. She’s in awe. She looked down and there’s kids running around, and some men training. She smiled.

She went back inside and decided to take a rest again. She still hopes to return to the real world and will treasure this dream if she wakes up there.
