(Aurora’s POV)
The cafeteria was bustling with activity as Mia and I entered. I glanced around, taking in the groups of students chatting, laughing, and enjoying themselves. The space buzzed with energy, but I felt a little out of place amidst the vibrant atmosphere.
"Let’s grab our coffee and find a spot" Mia chirped, guiding me to the counter.
After ordering our drinks, the two of us scanned the room for a table. Mia pointed to a quieter corner, and we made our way there. Sitting down, Mia wasted no time diving into conversation, her excitement contagious.
"So, as I was saying, I’m originally from the countryside, but I’ve always dreamed of studying in the city. And let me tell you, this place is like a whole new world! What about you, Aurora? Where are you from?"
