As the meeting ended, I wasted no time. My heart was pounding as I quickly walked out of the hall, my mind racing. I knew Ian would have questions, and I wasn’t ready to answer them, especially not here in front of all those people…The last thing I wanted was for anyone to make any kind of connection between us.
