After a quiet breakfast, the time had come for Aurora’s parents to leave. The weight of the moment hung heavily in the air, and Aurora’s heart pounded in her chest as she tried to keep her composure. She could feel the trembling in her hands, but she refused to let it show.
Her parents stood up, ready to leave, and her mother wrapped her arms around her in a tight, emotional embrace.
"Take care, my sweet girl," She whispered softly, her voice breaking.
