Amelia POV
After a lot of pain striking struggles, I finally reached my room. When I said those words to him, my heart fell heavy all of sudden, and pain erupted in my chest.
"Did I fall for him?" I asked myself.
I treated him like my best friend but seems like he can not be the one. He is not made for me. He cannot leave his pack and come with me to the coven nor can I neglect my duties. Our friendship can never prosper.
Before coming for the conference there was a hope in my heart that I could see him safe and sound out there. I will meet him with my real identity. That thought gave me the courage and strength to practice more. I wanted to appear as a strong girl in front of him. But all of a sudden when all my wishes come true, I feel empty inside.
