After discussing for two more hours we still couldn't find out the reason why such an old spirit attached the pack and specially targeted Xander. The conclusion was that it may come here for no reason and as it's the nature of evil spirits to kill so it decided to kill the pack. I know that this reason might sound dumb and stupid but we really couldn't reach a judgment.
After this whole drama, I went back to my room to rest as it was already evening. I was tired of nonstop discussions. As I stared at the ceiling while laying on the bed, the dream came into my mind.
