Amelia POV
I stared at the girl in the mirror who had deep eyebags and a tired look on her face due to stress and lack of sleep. Xander's absence had taken a big toll on my body. I couldn't sleep, even for a minute as I knew that Xander was not in the next room. I don't know why I felt scared, uncomfortable, and empty last night. A moment I was on the verge of crying and the next moment I felt the need to kill someone. It's confusing but that's how my mood swung the previous dusk.
Changing into a fresh pair of clothes and applying makeup to cover my eyebags, I walked toward the kitchen.
"Greetings Luna!" Pack members stood up in respect.
"Good morning to you too. Please resume your breakfast" I told them as I sat on my usual spot beside Skylar.
"Didn't sleep well last night?" she ask
