Amelia POV
"Ten more deaths were reported by Nick. What should we do Amelia? The barrier isn't working. The whole pack will vanish if things continued as this" Xander paced back and forth in the living room.
"Did Elder Caroline tell you anything about the case and her investigation?" I asked him.
Elder had not contacted me ever since she said that she would do the investigation alone. I was really worried. Things were getting out of control.
"No, she didn't utter a word. Nick told me that she was not in a good condition. Talk to her" Xander said.
"Where is she?" I inquired from him.
"In her room" he sat down on the sofa and held his head in his hands.
