Amelia POV
"Did you think about me? If you were there in my place, would you leave your mate alone there to die?" I asked.
Silence fell over the room. We gazed at each other, which felt like hours but in reality, we're only a few minutes.
"What did you say?" he questioned.
His voice was unsteady and full of impatience.
"I meant that you werewolves care so much about your mate so you definitely wouldn't have left me alone there" I fake smiled.
"Leave us" Xander decreed.
Doctors rushed out of the room. I looked at Skylar with pitiful eyes, urging her to not leave me alone here with Xander. But she mouthed me a sorry and left while giving me a thumbs up.
"Nick!" I screeched as he was about to leave with Skylar.
"Sorry, Luna! can't help you this time. You are on your own" Nic
