As soon as we are done getting ready, we head into the living room, where Alan and Mike are sitting and waiting for us to arrive. As soon as Sasha wakes up, Alan is already by her side, complimenting her on how stunningly beautiful she is. As Mike continues to look at me, I start to get a very uneasy feeling in my stomach. Even more so than I thought when we first encountered each other in the corridor. I used to feel naked when I was only wearing a towel, but now I feel even more exposed.
I really hope that Mike and I can turn this situation around soon. I wish that instead of being constantly engulfed by all of this unease, we could talk and laugh like friends rather than constantly being engulfed by it.
