Five hours! Five long unending hours I laid on my bed idled, listening while everything died down till only the crickets were left singing amidst the grasses under the moonlight. I got up with a sigh as I couldn't take it anymore, the silence was killing me. I glanced at the clock while sweeping my feet over the bed to the floor. It was midnight, I saw it through my open window too. The sky was moonless and starless, an aroma of rain swept through my room and I felt chills down my spine. I huddled myself up to the window and closed it.
