I heard a sort of poem from @dayana on t****k. It said,

'Nne m said, there are three kinds of women;

Ifenkili, the one who turns heads,

Ifensopuru, the one who bows them,

Ifentufu, the one no one regards.

Nne m said, a woman will be called by many names, but what she answers to is what matters,'

The poem is the book.

"I didn't see anything o. Just calm down, they'll definitely contact you. You're just being a little too anxious about it. It'll come," Keturah said dropping the phone beside Yagazie's books on the table. "That's what you've been saying for 2 weeks now. It's coming, it's coming. Where is it now? I don't know why I sent those pictures sef," Yagazie said picking up the phone. Her perfectly shaped eyebrows furrowed in worry as she scrolled. She got up and stretched the phone back to Keturah once she was done with it. "I don't know what you want me to tell you again o. I don talk talk, I don tire. Just calm down, they'll call. Your pictures were good and your online presence is strong. You'll definitely be picked. How many times do I have to tell you?" Keturah asked watching Yagazie walk towards the mirror. Yagazie picked up the blue comb on the dressing table and ran it through her long soft dark brown hair gently. Her hair color was almost same with her eyes, but the pair was a shade lighter. She dropped the comb and took the ribbon next, packed her hair in a small tight bun. She smiled slightly at her reflection in the mirror once she was done. Big doe eyes, perfect nose and small pouty full pink lips on her perfect U-shaped face. Her skin wasn't a hundred percent flawless but well ...acne could be an ass. She wasn't fair but she was better than dark so she was more like caramel. She stepped back a little, looking herself over in the mirror. She was tall, not Iroko tall, just not short tall. Something like that??? Anyway, she liked it that way. "I hear you o," Yagazie answered taking out her own phone from the dressing table's drawer. "That's all you'll say?" "Yes nau, mommy. If you say I'll get in then no problem. I'll wait and see, it's not like I have a choice or something. Thanks for helping me check," "Queen Yagazie has dismissed me bah? I can now leave," Yagazie smiled. "Mummy, na you know o," "Bye. Don't think too much, you hear?" Keturah said leaving the room. Yagazie sighed and fell on her bed. She had sent a few pictures to one of the best modelling agencies in the country; Elixir Modelling Manor. Modelling was only one of her many big dreams. It was her biggest though. She knew she had the physique and beauty. She also knew she met Elixir's qualifications with age and weight and the likes. But there were probably a thousand girls in the same category. For her to be picked, there had to be something special, something that made her stand out? Did she have that? Her family seemed fairly comfortable, but that was only because her mom was working so hard. Her dad was being the usual lazy layabout he was. She would soon graduate and then they'd need to raise money for university. There was still Miracle. She would be entering senior class this year. Money!! She had been working so hard for years to get to this point. Those small brand deals, the mini photoshoots, the part time jobs she took, the makeup classes she gave, the waitressing at events. Everything built up to this moment that was coming. And in a way, she was being reckless. She should have submitted to other agencies. She was being stoic and she knew it. But she couldn't imagine herself elsewhere. It had to be Elixir. If Ene Jones made it, then she could too. She would. She had to. * "Wetin do you?" Damilola asked dropping the bottle of Stout beside his friend. "Why?" Kamal asked looking up at him. "I talk say wetin do you, you dey ask why? You well so? What's wrong with you, jor?" Damilola asked pouring out a glass for him. "I'm fine. I'm just tired," "Tired of what?" "Must I tell you everything? When you start amebo like this?" "I no blame you. Blame me wey come keep you company. Who send me work? If no be free beer, wetin wan cause nonsense?" He said and they both laughed. "So how's everything at home. Your papa nko? How's his health?" Kamal asked.
