CHAPTER ONE
"AHHHHH" The scream of a young girl echoed through the warehouse shivering every soul that heard it. Three bodies lay on the ground in the middle of a pool of blood. A woman and a man who had a bullet hole in their heads along with a thirteen year old girl. The sight was truly heart wrenching. **** "AHHHHH" the scream of a young girl echoed through the vacant penthouse. Upon hearing the scream a girl in the down floor of the penthouse ran towards its location, the nursery. As she opened the door the voice of a gunshot and shattering glass was heard as well as the screams of both the girls echoing through the penthouse. As the dust settled down, the view seen was heart wrenching. Everything in the nursery was upside down and a body of a three year old lay crumpled in between the mess with a gunshot in between her eyes. The girl standing on the doorway fainted as all the air seemed to be sucked out of her lungs upon seeing this scene. This is how Phoebe Jane Raymond was murdered. For Amelia this was not a new sight for her parents was killed the same way. **** Different colors were thrown across the sky as the sun was descending. The building of Raymond Corps was standing tall with all its might among the other skyscrapers in Seattle. A car left the basement of the building and moved towards the outskirts of the city towards a graveyard. A silhouette got out of the car and moved towards a small grave, which was alongside two other graves. Phoebe Jane Raymond (2017-2019) was engraved upon the headstone of the small grave while Y.I.O and N.I.O (1974-2005) was engraved on the other two graves.  The sun casted down an eerie glow as it disappeared behind the mountains. The shadow leaned down on the grave, placed a bouquet of white lilies, and whispered a line of incoherent words due to the silent sobbing. After getting up the figure touched the necklace that rested on her neck and stood up her head high, as the evening breeze blew down her neck waving her long brunette hair as if it were a horse's mane. Yes, it was a silhouette of a young woman carrying an expression of vengeance and dominance in her dark brown eyes. It seemed as if the light in her eyes was sucked out and they remained deadly quiet. The traces of tears were still shining on her face as she returned to her car. It was a black Audi R8 convertible as sleek and shiny as if brand new. It was brand new as the last two cars driven by her were brutally smashed in a tree due to her anger.  She sat in the car and drove back towards the city, which was now shining with lights as the night time fell on the skyscrapers of Seattle. Her car zigzagged through the long streets of Seattle finally entering the parking lot of Raymond Corps. She exited the car and took the elevator to floor number 45.  "I'm home" she called aloud as she stepped on the foyer of the penthouse. "Mila's home" an excited voice of a boy chirped as he came running towards the girl "Hey there Timmy, what do you want to play?" the girl asked the five year old boy with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. "Mila and Timmy, it's dinner time" a gentle voice of a woman floated down the hallway along with the aroma of freshly baked chicken. "Coming" both Amelia and Timmy answered in unison as they moved toward the dining room where a woman with dark brunette hair and grey eyes was arranging the table with a smile etched upon her glowing face.  "Hey, sorry I'm late" a man entered the dining room with a tired face and tasseled hair. "Daddy…." However, the women interrupted Timmy as she cleared her throat. "Let Daddy start, then you can ask him". "It's okay Timmy go on…"the man encouraged the child "Daddy, Mummy said earlier on that time flew by, how does it fly though?" Young Timmy asked. Laughter erupted and the night sped by. Soon everyone was off to bed and the lights dimmed in the rooms. "Sometimes all you can do is lie in bed and hope to fall asleep before you fall apart" As the people of the house drifted off to sleep the last room on the upper floor of the penthouse still had its lamp on. On the bed lying was the figure of Amelia as she hoped that sleep would soon envelop her. Amelia Joan Michael aka Mila, was a young girl who was spoilt by her parents in every way. But after witnessing her parents death, she transformed into another person. Her parents were brutally murdered while she was in school, and the killer remained unanimous. Then she moved in with the Raymond's just before two years of their marriage. The Raymond household consisted of Christopher Raymond, His wife Dakota Raymond, his son Timothy Raymond, Amelia Michael and their daughter Phoebe Jane Raymond who was kidn*pped when she was two years old, beaten on a sorrowful Saturday evening and then shot dead, but unfortunately the culprits escaped and were not caught. From that day, the atmosphere in the Raymond household became empty with sadness lingering in the air. If it were not for their care for each other, they would never have gotten back up on their feet. It took a while but eventually they returned to their lives with quite a change. However, the only person whose heart was restless each night was Amelia. The nightmares were the sole cause, but other than that were the blood boiling inside of her to avenge Phoebe and her parents, for only she knew the murderer was the same person. No one ever realized because both the murders were eight years apart. The sun dawned the next day with dewdrops still present on the leaves. It was drizzling. Ameila was completing her rituals of the morning before she left the building for a jog. After having a hearty breakfast made by Dakota, she left the building with her black spandex and black hood on. She placed her air pods in her ears, and started jogging towards the gym. It was 6:30 in the morning. She did her routine before jogging back to the penthouse. On the way back from home, she stopped at Gunman's Point to pick her revolver up that she left there for mending. She reached back home, took a shower changed her clothes and decided to sit on the terrace to freshen her mind and to decide her to-do list.  After two to three hours of pondering, she had finally planned her day. She was wearing a black pantsuit and left her hair in waves with light makeup and a nude lipstick. She looked at the clock and it was already eleven. She left for her office. As she drove through the streets of Seattle, she finally reached her building. The glass building stood tall and towered the other buildings surrounding it. A.N.Y Corporations was written in glowing letters on the top of the building. She entered the building, her head held high, as the guard greeted her. As soon as she entered the building, everyone shuddered at her domineering and cold aura, for the atmosphere seemed to have been chilled at her presence.   “I want my schedule at my desk and report me what you found about him” She ordered her P.A, who scurried behind her. “Mam, he has a son” Her P.A told her. “Brilliant, who?” She clapped her hands together, her eyes turning cold. “Mam, our rival from Turkey who settled his business here. Mr. Burak Ilhan Onur” She replied to her question. She let out a laugh. “Perfect, you  can now leave” She waved her P.A away.  "Burak Ilhan Onur, let's begin the game the world has been dying to see"
