Surprise Chapter Two

*Niqolette's point of view

My hands were shivering uncontrolably, not from the cold,but from the people staring at me.The next moment a bright light falls on me, forcing me into the spotlight.I wasn't use to being the center of attention whatsoever so this really made me feel exposed. I felt the thousands of hungry eyes eating taking in every inch of me.

My vision was too blurry to make out what was happening and who was around and infront of me. My heart began racing as I could hear the soft whispers escaping from the lips of others.  I must admit that I felt nervous from that moment on but I knew that I could not back out now, oh hell no!!!  Especially after all that I have been through and have had to put up with this was my one chance to prove a point to the rest of the alpha's.

I looked up into the eyes of the devil himself. Aden was staring at me with nothing but anger in his eyes, with judgement emmiting from the looks of his facial expression. f**k his eyes were basically shooting daggers and clearly I was the target. I thought to myself whether there was a possibility someone in the crowd would be able to sense the tension or better yet see the hatred written all over this guy's face.            His hand was reaching out for mine, with one look up,I placed my hand in his and felt a wave of warm energy driving through my body. Once my hand was in his he pulled me closer into the safety which is his embrace.

I could barely get any oxygen as his grip slowly started  to tighten around my waist, his hands digging into the sides of my hips while the other was guiding me toward the dance floor. His muscles hardened with every move and boy was I finding this prick to be one sexy adonis god...but in a suite instead of white fleecy cloth that looked like a dress, he was truly sexy in a tuxedo. 

He spinned me around, brought me back into the close proximity of his chest only to have my back arched as he leaned my body backwards as if I were falling and he was the hero that catches me before I touch the ground, with his arm supporting the lower part of my back he gently brought me up again into that same comfort zone that made me feel like I was his everything. My body was in sync with his as my feet danced to the rhythm of his body, catching me offgaurd when he began to whisper in my ear:

"You look amazing tonight dear,so please help me understand why you would dare to bring my dear brother into this?"

"This?"I asked surprisingly.

"Are you trying to make me jealous over the two of you or are you threatening me, It's so hard to tell when you have no emotion in your eyes ?"

"No,unfortunetly the thought is already killing you from the inside!"I said while he let me sway to the rythm with him.

"If he touches you it will be a shame for the both of us Nikki." 

"Stop calling me Nikki,you don't get to call me that anymore clearly since you already have a pet."

"I will call you whatever I choose too, but might I bring this to your attention that I'm dancing with you right now while the red headed mistress of a pet is staring at us!" Aden unknowingly pointed out.

"I think we are done here.." but before I can get loose from being in his grip, he roughly pulls me closer to wheras I can feel the swiftness of his breath against my skin, he squeezes me leaving my breasts pressed up and squished against his shirt that's when he lets his eyes travel downward to where my breasts are resting, I swear that's the most tempting smirk that he has ever expressed.

"I'm not done yet Nikki!"

"What do you want Aden?" I tiredly say

"How about you tell me what you were really doing at the local hospital today with none other than my brother?"

"Just checking up on a patient,that is all!" my words sounded soft as I tried to remain calm through this whole situation.

"The patient known as the guy who tried to mark you?" Aden said possesively

"Yes,look I just got some insight on the case that is all.After all, I am one of the best doctors in town.."

"Also one of the best liars in town!" with so much rage racing through his veins I could feel how he started to drive his fingernails into my skin.Unexpctedly the other people started to dance with us, which made the situation  more comfortable.We got interupted by one of the mistresses who wanted a dance with Aden,as nice as I was I had to take the chance to get away from him.If he finds out what I am doing then that would be my death ticket. I will be dead in a heart beat.I stepped away from the dance and headed straight out to get some fresh air. That's when I came across a lady steadily approach me, one with an unpleasant face.

Great the red headed b***h!Before she could even speak or utter a single word Markus showed up!! Out of the blue, with a glass of champaign she walked past me with a light growl,b***h please your growl is the last thing on my mind.

*Aden's point of view

The rest of the night Niqolette was bonding with the wife's of the alpha's or she danced with my bastard of a brother.It made me sick to think about him touching her lower back.It took a lot just to hold my anger and frustration in,no one could know that Niqolette was my weakness.Most of the people started to head home so I followed their example,but by the time we left Niqolette and Markus was already gone.When I got to my room Amelia started to undress herself,she tried to destract me from thinking.My mind was running once again away with wild thoughts of them being togheter.Amelia came to sit on my lap trying to seduce me,but I was not in the mood.I pushed her away with an angry growl.

"Where were you tonight?"I stood up and asked her face to face.

"I went to get myself another drink baby,what is going on?"

"Bullshit!you were talking to one of the beta's!"

"Fine is that a crime cause let me tell you once that I came back I found you dancing with Niqolette!For fucksakes Niqolette out of all the people in the room you had to pick that slut!"I took her by the hand then gave her the dress that was laying on the floor.

"The only slut here is you Amelia,how dare you talk to other men while I'm in your prescence?"

"You had business Aden!"

"Yeah and I still do,so please f**k off Amelia once that you learn your lesson my door will be open,but until then you will nothing from me.Not a f**k at all do you understand me?"she took her dress and replayed with the only thing I knew. 

"Yes,my king!" and she left out by the door.I could not sit there this thing with Niqolette is bugging me so bad that I found myself walking to her cottage outside.I knocked on the door and to my surprise Markus was standing there with a lose tie.He looked just as surprised as I was.He let me in and gave me a glass of whiskey.

"Thank you,where is Niqolette?"

"Relax brother she is just getting out of that big dress,she will be out now anytime.."his words was not even cold when she came around the corner with a satin dress.She looked beautifull.The dress made her body stand out as well as her breast.Man it was short as hell.I felt like kicking her as for her actions earlier and now.When my brother saw her he froze then looked at his watch on his arm.

"It is pretty late I'd better get going.Thank you for the wonderfull evening Niqolette!"he said then gave her a kiss on the cheeck.What the f**k does he not know that I am standing right behind him?

"Let me walk you out quickly,I'll be here in a sec Aden."She said with tone that I have never heard.Almost like she findes me boring while he is more playfull.She came back in the kitchen only to stand right infornt of me.

"My brother was in your house!"

"Yes and how is that a problem?"

"He being around you is a problem Niqolette!"

"Well you sleeping with your mistress is also a problem,me being kicked out that is a problem,but does it look like I'm complaining?"she said while her arms was resting on her breasts.

"That is different!"

"How is that any different from what you are doing.Once and a while a woman needs a little bit of love!"

Once she said that she made every anger muscle in my brain go pop.I grabbed her by her hair and pulled her closer.

"Looks like you have forgotten your place my dear,it's time that I bring you back to f*****g earth!"

I picked her up and took her straight down the hall to her bedroom.She looked surprised by the way I was acting,but I did not care if she needs love and a flame I'll give that to her.I placed her slowly on the bed then out of the blue my phone rang.
