Surprise Chapter one

*Niqolette's point of view

I was shocked when I saw him standing right in front of me.He was perfectly  dressed in a suit and tie.After the announcement was made Markus took my hand and gave it a kiss.My attention was all on the hot guy in front of me.He gave a smirk then took my hand so that we can walk down the stairs,but as we made our way down he whispered something  in my ear : "I told you that I would have a feeling that I will be spending Christmas with you."He made my legs felt like jelly that was one of the reasons why I try to stay away from him.As we reached the bottom of the stairs I felt heavy pressure on me,specially with Aiden staring at me.We walked through the crowd then saw a quite place in a far corner so we headed straight to that spot.Once we got seated Markus went to get us some drinks,not long after he  was gone a few laddies came over to me.

"Hi my name is Elenore and this is Mina and Jacky.I'm the wife of the golden circle my dear please I would just like to say that you look absolutely gorgeous.You are the talk of the party my dear."

"Thank you I was aiming for it!"

"Well dear with that dress and being the first female alpha trust me you made your statement long ago."

"Definitely but this must be clearly  your first time here with us?" Mina asked me with a serious tone.

"Is it that obvious?"

"Yes dear,please tell us more about yourself?"

"Well there is not a lot to tel really!" I got interrupted by a mans voice saying : " She is one of the best doctors in the East and West!"

"Markus!"

"That is true indeed mister Markus!" a guy said with a very strange voice.He was big and round but yet a temper baby.There was a lady with golden white hair next to him wearing a pink dress.She really looked like one of the slaves working in the streets at night.

"Niqolette,it's nice to see that someone is interested in my work mister?"

"Sir Hendry the second of course and this is my beautiful mistress Adelina!"

"Sir Hendry of the Golden Circle?"

"Indeed my dear,it is nice to meet the lady that thinks she can take a mans place after all it wont last long!"

"Oh please just call me Adelina the mistress wont be necessary,I must say that you look quite divine,but as for you Elenore you look like shit."

"Why thank you Adelina!" I stood there in silence since when do the mate give out nice complements to the mistress of the assholes club.Fuck that s**t!

"Thank you Adelina I really wish that I could say the same for you but unfortunately my father taught me not to lie!" 

"Well you are a feisty young lady aren't you?"

"Sorry for the disappointment sir Hendry but I don't live to please anyone almost like you.."

He gave me a very upsetting look then walked past me with an angry face.I guess that he was not impressed with any of the words that I just spoke to him,but that did not bother me in anyway.Once he left the laddies started to laugh out loud.

"Thank you for what you just did,its hard to say anything on a night like this.."

"Why??"

"This is a ball for all the men to show how much they really appreciate the mistresses in their life.Trust me this could have been a lot worse!"

"It is worse to stand in one room with these bitches trust me!"

"Would you ladies please excuse me I have some business to attend to."

After Markus has left the laddies looked at me with glowing eyes almost like a dream just came true.

"So are you two dating now,cause we know that you aren't marked yet!"

"No we are just friends trust me,will you laddies please excuse me I just need to refill my glass for one moment!"

As I left I kept thinking about the questions that was going to come but that was the least of my worries at this moment once my eyes caught the man who made my life hell.My father was heading straight towards me so I decided to dodge him just to miss the awkward moment.I just came around the fountain to find my father looking at me from head to toe.

*Aiden's point of view

What the f**k was going on with Niqolette how dare's she make a fool out of me in front of these people.I found my eyes looking for her every time.The moment she made her entrance she looked like an angel from heaven.She had a dark blue that turned to light blue on it's way down with a small diamond belt around her waist.She made me crazy and skeptical about her actions most of the evening.Amelia could not fascinate my mind like Nikki could,but she made me release my demon,my one and only wolf.My brother was surfing through the crowd speaking to each member one by one.My little brother is up to no good as I took a sip of whiskey I saw Nikki standing by her father.Her face was serious with a hint of fear.She looked scared of him cause I could feel his pulse raising.I walked closer to her then pulled her closer to me.I heard whispers in the back but at this moment I still have a deal with this man.

"Andrew welcome,please enjoy every moment!"

"Thank you Aden,but I would actually just like to talk to my daughter as we have not spoken in a while!"

"Please feel free to come and visit tomorrow as we still have many guests to greet."

"Quick word Niqolette?"

"Of course father,Aden will you give us just a minute?"

"Nikki?"

"Please?"

"I'll be by the bar." Then he walked away.

"Glad to see that you are making friends with the family.You look just like your mother have I ever told you about that?"

"No,but please get to the point father!"

The next moment he tried to hit me but then the alpha grabbed his arm very fast without anyone noticing.He kept his voice calm that even my father was afraid to say anything.

"How about that visit tomorrow Andrew?"

"I'll be honored please excuse me."

Then he left me alone without saying anything further.My eyes fell on Aden that was staring at me with dagger eyes.If looks could kill I would have dies at least five time tonight.He gave me a glass of champagne while taking the other one away to give it to a waiter.

"My brother as your date and your coffee friend,I really don't know what to say about that."

"I'm glad to see that you are still in one piece,but if you would just excuse me I need to find my partner!"

"He is doing business deals like always.It is sad to see you standing here while he is enjoying himself don't you think?"

"Well that makes two of us,kindly excuse me!"

He grabbed my arm then an announcement came on : "Laddies and gentle men please welcome the one and only ripper in the world,he will be opening the dance floor for us tonight!"

"Dance with me Nikki?"

"What?"was her reply with a cold heart I found myself bleeding on the floor once her eyes landed on Markus my bastard of a brother.I will f*****g kill him if she says no to a dance with one of the most feared kings.I will kill him if he thinks that for one second he will have Niqolette!

"Nikki will you?"I said in anger tone with blood boiling like hell.
