Alonzo snatched Lorenzo's phone from his hands to make him look at him. “Are you even listening?”, Alonzo asked Lorenzo, as he placed Lorenzo's phone on the table. “Yeah”, Lorenzo replied as he tried to get his phone from the table. “So, your idea?”, Alonzo asked, as he got Lorenzo's phone from the table and held it in his hand. “We should release our product before they release our copy.” He said as he snatched his phone back. “But they released the trailer ad for their product.” He mentioned the ad that had been viral on the media. “Make a whole different ad, then release the product with the ad and try to block their trailer.” He says, looking at the photo of Zoey and Lily shopping in a supermarket near their house. “OK. So, did she call?” Alonzo asks. “She won’t”, Lorenzo replied. Even though he leaves his cards, he knows she won’t call him. He just leaves his in her jacket, because he wants her to think about him with that card. “Then are you looking at the photos or are you planning to do something real?” Alonzo asks curiously, because this was the first time he saw Lorenzo being serious about someone. If it's past Lorenzo, he will spend a night with her and forget about her. “I’m going to meet her tomorrow.” He says. Then they talked about their business. Next day: As always, lily went to school on her bicycle. Zoey stayed with Mia. She worked in the store till noon. She had lunch with Mia and went upstairs to the library, sat in her regular place and started to work on her new book while listening to music on the airpod. She listens to music when she feels she can’t concentrate, but for the last two days she has been listening to music to write. At 4pm, she closed her work and opened her journal. When she went through the pages, there was a black card that caught her eye. She held that card and looked at the name printed on that card, ‘LORENSO MORELLI’. She felt like she didn’t know anything about him other than his name. But he says he is a mafia leader. From that day she wanted to try to search for his name on the internet to find if it was true, or he was pranking her. But she didn’t dare to do that. That was her first time she spent more than an hour with a man in the last ten years. So, she also felt something for him, but she didn’t want to feel that way. She didn’t want to think about any man in her life. She places that card inside her journal, then packs her things and goes downstairs to place her things in her lock. When she gets back from the staff room, she hears Mia's voice as she is speaking with someone. Zoey has been warning Mia to lower her voice when she speaks with customers, but it looks like she has started to do it again. Zoey went to the bill counter to warn her. “Lower your voice, Mia”, she warned her, and got her stock note. “You want me to whisper to that hot guy. Look at him. He asks about your book, that’s why I get more excited.” She says, looking at someone in his black jacket. Zoey gave an annoyed look and went to the bookshelves to note the stock of each book as noted in her stock note. “Excuse me, where can I find ‘Three flowers’ books?” a voice from behind asked. She felt slightly happy to hear people ask for her book. But that voice was slightly familiar to her. She turns around and meets the blue-eyed man she had met three days ago. Her heart stopped beating a second and started to beat. She looked at the man in front of her. He looked totally different from the last time. He was not in his three-layered suit, which looked good on him. But now he was in his black knee-ripped jeans with black boots, a tight white t-shirt that showed his chest muscles as well as his pack, but she couldn’t count how many and a black jacket on his bordered shoulders. Yes, he looks hot. Not just hot, he looks hottest. He clears his throat and makes Zoey get her back from her thoughts. “Huh? Yes... tha- that’s in the third aisle” Zoey said as she lowered her eyes and looked at the stock note. She turns around as she walks to the next row and takes a deep breath to slow down her breath. She didn’t want her heart to beat crazily when she spoke with him. On the other hand, Lorenzo felt happy to see Zoey's reaction towards him. At first, he thought she would look like she didn’t know him. But this reaction gives him hope she still remembers him. He chuckled as he started to follow her to every aisle. “So, where should we go for our first date?” Lorenzo asked Zoey. Zoey turned to look at the man in front of her with a ‘what’ look. “Sorry?” “Where should we go for our first date?” he asks as he walks toward her. Zoey takes a few steps back and, “what do you mean?” she asks him. Lorenzo laughed, “our first date?” he says. “I don’t remember talking about dates.” Zoey said and turned away and walked toward the counter. She didn’t want to meet that man again, who made her feel different. She didn’t want him in her life. When she went back, she saw her baby talking to Mia. She felt happy to see her lily laughing and talking with Mia. Lily’s laugh was the only thing she wanted to listen to and see in Zoey’s life. As she went to them, Mia whispered something to Lily and went upstairs to know if anyone needed her help. When Zoey went to the billing counter, her daughter told her she was going home and left. Zoey nodded as she looked at her flower and walked towards the stairs. “So, how about a coffee?” Lorenzo asked her, standing in front of her holding two books in his hand. “I’m sorry. I don’t want to.” Zoey says as, looking at the desktop in front of her as she entered stock details.
