Ruya entered the passenger bay, the metallic door shutting behind her, sealing the cockpit. She was teary-eyed. Eyes full of rage and wrath and sorrow, but not towards her newfound companions. Together, they had just faced the most frightening evil that had ever scourged the galaxy. Together, they had survived, paying the price for their loss.
They were huddled in their seats, close to one another, as if the wounds would hurt less in the warmth they shared, but something in the eyes of the man and the old woman had changed.
