EPILOGUE
Her blue irises tightened around her pupils, turning them into small black circles.
Hope gasped after probing the future.
Sorran, standing in front of her, looked at her grimly. He withdrew the hand he had held out to her and was surprised to see a slight trembling of his fingers.
“Now you know the truth, you know the future that awaits us. Why do you hesitate?” He asked, seemingly annoyed.
Hope realized that, for the first time in her life, she was not afraid. She lifted her chin proudly, withstanding the Dark Lord’s gaze.
“There is no single future,” she revealed.
She brought her hand to her side, to the sword that hung from her belt.
She was still uncertain. But, in a few moments, her decision would be made.
