“Sorry? Fly to Bangkok, go six hundred kilometres north and only stay an evening? I don't understand”.
Roger stared into his eyes. “Don't you?”
Michael looked at the girls and they smiled back.
“We could take you tonight if you like, for a few hours”.
He sort of grasped what they were talking about, but the concept was still eluding him.
“I can see that this is a shock to you, so, to put it simply, if we were to go there tonight”, asked Jan, “would we face any problems?”
“No... er, only total surprise... shock even. It is ten o'clock here, so it is four a.m. over there...”
“Would they get up early for you?”
“Dew would obviously, and so would the others...”
