The One's Eyes

Chapter 1  POV : Elle         For anyone to understand what is going on now I need to go back 6 years ago to a happier time. Back to a time when my biggest worry in life was if the people in my pack will like me. It's funny to think that I had been so worried about what people thought of me. I wasn't like my twin Tina. She was the same height as me and we both have long wavy hair, but that's where we stop looking alike. She has hazel and green eyes and has adorn hair with a deep ginger undertone. Me on the other had have deep blue eyes that change from deep blue to a deep frost blue, depending on my mood. Tina has a darker tan then I did. She was always making a friend, when I couldn't seem to be able to find a common thing. I didn't like talking about boys and putting on make up. I was to full of questions about anything and everything. My mom used to tell me that I was born to find adventure's everywhere I go in my life.         Tina wasn't always my only sibling. I also had an older brother named Dean and he was about 14 and he was already 6 foot and looked almost exactly like Tina; with short but curly hair. Most of the time people thought they were the twins because of how much they look  alike. I also had a younger brother named Jone, he was about 4. He had shaggy dark brown hair and ocean blue eyes. I miss them with and my parent's Ella and Tommy. They where the leaders of the Of the River Rain pack in Oregon. We lived in the mountain's where we own a small town that we all work and live in. We have hotels and ski lodge's for winter months to bring people in along with hiking and camping in the warmer months. My father was the Alpha and my mother was the Luna. My brother Dean was next in line to be Alpha when my father stepped down. When a shifter turns 18 they become able to find the one person in the whole world who will love them forever. We become able to find our mate! There are changes that our body goes through. For example since my family has alpha blood we get different design markings that show up. The markings are normally red or like and red orange mix. The higher up the pack rank you are the darker your marks are. My mom and dads marks where a deep maroon and deep orange. They where extremally beautiful.         Back to what was going on earlier. It was mine and Tina's 11th birthday. and we had a great day. They woke us up with breakfast in bed, beacon and egg's. We got new bikes that we road to school on that day. Mine was dark blue and Tina was light purple. Everyone at school told us happy birthday. We were in 7th grade and Dean was a freshman in high school. Jone wasn't old enough to go to school yet. Me and Tina had two out of four classes together. We had math and writing together. I also had art and PE. Tina had PE and then art. After school we road home as fast as we could, because that when we got home mom and dad would make us our favorite chicken alfredo and, they would have cake for when dinner was done. We also each get an hour to each parent. For one on one time with them. It was my favorite thing about my birthday. I loved being able to have an whole hour to hag out with them. With them being alpha's they are always busy. I had always understood that they don't want to be as busy as they where, but there wasn't much anyone could do to change it. I got to spend my first hour with my mom. We made cookies and decorated them in frosting. For the hour with my dad we went fishing. I loved my mom with all my heart, but I was a daddy's girl for sure. As we were fishing I remember I was extra excited, because today was the day I would ask my dad if he would start teaching me how to fight just like Dean. I have wanted to learn how to be strong. Just like my dad. I took a deep breath and ask. "Dad can you teach me how to fight and how to be strong like you." He looked down at me and smiled at me, so much love and pride in his eyes. "  I can teach you how to fight if that is what you want. All you need to remember to be strong is to take care of those who need you and to always do what you feel in your heart is right". I remember that we stayed out way later then an hour that night. We walked home hand in hand to have dinner with everyone. We eat and we laughed. After dinner we stayed up playing games until 2 am. What we didn't know was that it was the most perfect and last we would ever have as a family...
