Lisanna
First day of senior year, waking up at 6am isn't helping the situation either. Judging by the way school is technically in one hour: maybe one minute of sleep wouldn't be that bad.
I felt my phone vibrating, I groaned as I squinted my eyes. No way, it's 7:23am. I'm late, what the heck happened to one minute of sleep?
I got out of my bed and into my shower, after five minutes I got out and dried myself. Rapidly I brushed my teeth before pulling out some of my makeup. I need to look presentable at least.
I did a quick winged liner and applied some mascara before wearing my black shirt and high waisted jeans. Grabbing my leather jacket I zoomed downstairs only to find my older brother sipping his coffee peacefully.
I wore my white Nike airforces and tied the laces and sighed. He couldn't at least wake me up?
Well that was Zeke, my 25 year old brother who happened to be sitting down peacefully not realising I'm not at school yet.
"You're still here?" Zeke frowns as I grab the apple sitting on the counter.
"Yes." I respond before taking a big bite of the apple.
"Have fun at school." Zeke smiles, I roll my eyes "You're joking." I say as he chuckles.
"Nope, actually yes; who do you think I am?" He says before getting out of his seat.
"Drop me?" I ask him.
"No thanks, take your motorcycle." He says as I grab the keys to my motorcycle and walked out of my house. I check the time on my phone, 8:00am. One hour late, that can't be good; not that I care.
I wore my helmet before starting up my motorcycle.
;
I walked inside the schools premises with a frown, it's not that I hated school, well I did but that wasn't the case. I hate the sort of people here, the type of teachers and the fact that you have to wake up early. Scrap that I hate school.
I was walking too fast to not notice that I bumped into a wall, it's never a wall isn't it? I look up to face
Luca Easton, you know the typical bad boy of the school. He had tousled dark brown hair, which was thick and lustrous. His eyes were a deep ocean blue, yeah he was what you call attractive.
Luca simply ignored me before making his way out of school, well then.
I sigh as I walked into the class I was dreading, I should've bunked. Should I bunk?
I smirk as I walked out of the school, I was surprised to find Luca admiring my motorcycle.
"See something you like?" I question Luca.
"That's yours?" He looks at me, a little too long for my liking.
"Yes." I respond before pulling out the keys for the motorcycle.
He nods his head before leaning on a car behind him.
"Reason why you're bunking school?" Luca looks at me, his eyes were honestly so blue.
"Felt like it." I shrug my shoulders before sitting on my motorcycle.
"Aren't you Asher's girl?" He pauses, as if he was trying to recognise me.
"No, best friend." I reply as Luca's eyes lit up in what I could call recognition.
"You're Lisanna right?" He questions.
"Yeah, how do you know?" I ask him.
"I've seen you around before." He simply says before getting inside his car.
I watched as he started the engine and drove off.
;
I'd decided that it was time for me to go to at least one lesson so I don't get a call home, either way I would get a call home; reasonably that was quite pointless of me to say.
I was about ten minutes late to my next class, which was English Literature.
"You're late." The teacher says sternly.
"I can tell." I respond, challenging the teachers judgemental eyes.
"Detention, my room after school." He says handing me a slip. I roll my eyes before taking a seat next to Asher.
"Since when do you dress like that?" Asher says taking in my appearance.
"Since I felt like it." I say blankly as he frowns.
"You weren't in Calculus this morning either." Asher looks at me disappointedly.
"I wasn't bothered." I say vaguely.
He stares at me as he sighs, "What's happening to you Liz?" I simply look at him sighing dramatically.
"Nothing." I said before grabbing a pen out from my bag.
"I have detention too." Asher smirks.
"Ash, that's not something you should be proud of." I chuckle.
"At least it's with you." He gave me a smile, that's what got me every time.
"I might not come, you know since Melody is coming over at my place after school." Asher says as I clenched my jaw at the sound of her name.
I loathed her, the way she treated me when Asher wasn't around; she was the literal definition of a drag queen. After that makeover of hers she changed, into a person I could barely recognise.
"Great." I mutter sarcastically before looking at the teacher who already seems to be hating my guts.
;
"I'm so hungry." I heard Asher say as he walked beside me. I tried to hold back from my stomach rumbling in English Literature but I failed miserably because every time my stomach rumbled Asher would try to hold back a chuckle.
As soon as we both sat down on the lunch table we were crowded by most of Asher's friends. I'm literally only here for Asher, I can't stand his friends; they're so sadistic.
"Babyyyy." I frown at the sound of that very voice, it was Melody, Asher's girlfriend.
Asher stood up and engulfed Melody in a huge hug as she wrapped her arms around his neck, she locks lips with Asher as I slightly felt uncomfortable.
I didn't miss the look she gave me before kissing Asher, she gave me the classic mean girl stare.
She's acting like I care.
Which I don't.
I won't let someone as low as Melody take over my life, Asher's in a toxic relationship. He doesn't even know the fact that Melody has been in bed with most of his friends.
I scowl as I took a sip of my water.
Some people who flood others with their distasteful criticisms ironically cannot handle even just a drop of their own medicine.
I'll make Melody pay for what she's done.
I'll make her realise that life isn't always a easy game to play.
I'll simply roll a dice and watch her play my game.
My game to destroy her.
