In the afternoon, I returned home, and saw Mom waiting for me at the front door. When she saw me, she ran to hug me. "Are you okay?" she asked, looking at me worriedly. "Yes," I replied, confused. "Why wouldn't I be?" I looked at her with a smile. "I was worried you went to see Erick." She hugged me. "Come on, I made your favorite soup." She took my hand so we could enter the house. My mother served me my favorite soup in a bowl, and I started to eat. I closed my eyes as I tasted the first spoonful of soup; it was truly delicious. I loved my mom's food. Now that I'm older, and she makes the meals she used to make us when we were little, it brings back many happy memories. "This is delicious." I closed my eyes as I continued to savor it.
