“Cut!” Director Drute clapped his hands in satisfaction and said, “Lisa, you are really talented. You totally captured the emotions of the weeping scene just now. Let’s take a break and then start the next scene!”

“Thank you, Drute.” Lisa’s assistant draped a blanket over her and handed her a cup of coffee. As she rested on the chair, she felt as if some people around her were looking at and gossiping about her.

“Is Ms. Royce on drugs? She even bore a child and doesn’t know who the father of the child is. I can’t imagine that she’s like that!”

“Didn’t Nico say that she’s Ms. Royce’s sister? She should be speaking the truth, right?”

“What? Don’t you know? Just now Nico told me that she used to bully Nico even though she’s the younger sister! She bullied Nico because she has congenital kidney disease. No wonder she looks so arrogant. She has been arrogant since childhood.”

“Tsk tsk tsk, what you know is not as explosive as what I just found out! Just now, Nico’s assistant told me that Nico has been in a bad mood lately and often cries because of this sister. Lisa wants to seduce Nico’s husband! Don’t you think that she’s despicable? How could she have to gall to still be filming a movie?”

“So just now when Nico was pushed by her and she was the one who deliberately did it to Nico? I was wondering how could it be so coincidental that someone was filming the entire incident.”

“Nico is trying to stop her from pestering her husband, but Miss Royce must be trying to hang onto her ex who is now a major shareholder of Stellar Productions.”

As everyone looked at Lisa from a distance and discussed what Nico said about her, a male actor who was Lisa’s friend took out his phone and sent a video that he captured to Lisa, who was puzzled by what was happening.

In the video footage, Nico knelt on the floor looking aggrieved and fiddled with her skirt, pretending to explain to the onlookers. “Lisa definitely didn’t mean to do that... She always had a bad temper since she was a child. Though there was occasional physical friction between us, it was nothing serious. After all, she is my sister, and taking care of her is also my responsibility...” After saying this, struggled to her feet and began to distribute some snacks bought by her assistant to the people around her.

“You mustn’t confront her because of these on my behalf. She’s really not a bad person, although she has a hot temper. If you make things difficult for her on my behalf, I will end up getting scolded by her and then things will be blown out of proportion.”

“Pfft” Lisa scoffed in disgust. Ever since she was a child, Nico had been in the same school as her, from kindergarten to college. She had honed her skills of coming up with convincing and dramatic lies. She would frequently play the victim and convince strangers that Lisa was the aggressor, had a bad temper, and was physically abusive to her. She did these to taint Lisa’s reputation.

Before marrying Rod, Lisa practically lost all her confidence due to Nico and Britney’s verbal abuses. Although she inherited her beautiful blonde hair and gorgeous blue eyes from her mother, she was convinced by Nico that she was ugly and unpresentable.

After the video finished playing, Lisa looked at her reflection off the dark screen, stood up, and walked toward the crowded rest area.

“Ms. Nico DuPont,” Lisa said in a pleasant but frosty voice toward the crowd.

Lisa walked confidently to Nico and their height difference enabled her to gaze down at Nico’s evil, unscrupulous face. Nico became intimidated and stepped backward guiltily but backed into a table behind her.

Slap! She slapped Nico’s pale and nasty face. Her cheek swelled and turned red immediately.

After the slap, Lisa lifted her palm and inspected it. “Wow, it turned red. Ms. DuPont, your skin’s really thick.”

Nico burst into tears and yelled, “You... Lisa you!!” She wanted to scream, yell, and trash everything around her. She wanted to point at Lisa’s nose and demand how dare she slap her in the face!

However, after thinking about her public image, she gritted her teeth and bottled up her grievances, and said meekly, “Lisa... I know that you’ve been unhappy these past few days because of what Rod had done. I fully understand... but... we’re family. Can we resolve these at home instead of in public?”

Lisa looked around and said, “You should have seen it just now. Since Ms. DuPont kept saying that I bully her, then I’ll really bully her, and let’s see how she behaves.”

“Ms. Nico Dupont, if I bully you every day as you said, then you may not be able to come out now... After all, you will probably be in the intensive care unit all the time.”

After speaking, Lisa turned around and left. She believed that when the information she recently collected with her cousin was posted online, everyone’s interest in Nico would be much greater. There was no need for her to keep defending against Nico’s lies.

Soon, news that Lisa slapped the new actress, Nico DuPont, on set spread throughout the internet. The video of Lisa slapping Nico went viral and gained millions of views.

The assistant who had been monitoring the trending data started to feel uneasy. “Ms. Royce, you are now the number one public enemy online. Almost every comment about you is negative. Can our plan still work?”

Lisa, who had a facial mask on while looking at her latest script, said confidently, “Don’t worry, my cousin and I have a follow-up plan. Since Nico wants to gain more sympathy and play the victim, then we’ll let her have this opportunity to do so.”

She intended to let Nico stir up the viewership numbers on this issue. Then when she flipped the situation, these viewers would then turn against Nico and become her supporters.

Lisa ignored the negative reviews online and allowed the situation to escalate overnight. The discussion was so heated that many called for Lisa to be canceled and expelled from the entertainment industry! She then nonchalantly sent a message to her cousin.

Camron smiled when he saw Lisa’s message. He immediately instructed the several media companies under his charge to publish a batch of information about Nico through all forms of traditional and social media.

Very soon, the search trends went from “Lisa the Celebrity Bully” to “Nico DuPont Threats” and “Nico DuPont Lies”, and so on.

Nico had been ordering her bodyguards to threaten other budding actresses to withdraw from auditions that she had participated in. If they refused to withdraw, then she would have them disfigured and ruined for life. Additionally, she would deliberately position herself with popular actors so as to create rumors and bring attention to herself.

Nico went from a pitiful victim who gained the people’s love and sympathy to becoming a black sheep who did whatever she could to gain popularity. There was even an actress who came forward and related her incident with Nico. She received a skincare product as a present from Nico thinking that it was out of goodwill to further their friendship. Little did she know that she developed an allergy from using it and had to forgo a television appearance so Nico conveniently filled in.

At the DuPont residence.

Nico screamed wildly and smashed a new batch of porcelain. “Ah ah ah!! How could it be? Who is it? Who released these?!” She shrieked so loudly that it reverberated throughout the enormous villa.

“Lisa, you s**t! You even sent me a restraining order! You b***h!! I must destroy you! Yes! I’ll let Dad destroy you now!”

Mr. DuPont, who was working in the office, received a phone call from his eldest daughter who cried bitterly and related to him what Lisa had done to her. He, who always doted on Nico, readily agreed to her requests.

Soon, the official website of The DuPont Group released photos of Lisa DuPont when she was a child. The president of The DuPont Group proclaimed that he was Lisa’s biological father, and news that Lisa was Nico’s sister became a new trend on the internet.

Nico’s mother, Britney, also issued a statement.

“As Lisa’s mother, I blame myself for her recent behavior. It’s because I had spoilt her and did not provide her with a strict family upbringing. As a representative of the DuPont Group and a mother, I request that everyone is forgiving toward my younger daughter. We will also endeavor to settle our family matters privately and not agitate the public. As for Lisa’s child, we will provide her with the best education. I invite everyone to be the judge of our following actions.”

After this series of announcements, public opinion, who was centered on Nico’s wrongdoings once again turned toward the innocent Lisa. She could not help but be impressed by how sinister and skillful Britney was in the art of manipulation.
