The Wolf inside Andreas's head was not in agreement with his actions, and he wasn't afraid to make that known clearly. Andreas felt itches in his arms to overtake Jessa, to push her to the ground and bite her neck. The Wolf wanted to claim her, and he was conjuring as many delectable images as he could that would make any man weak. But after years of discipline and relationship, Andreas knew how to fend off these fantasies. If Jessa had been a fellow wolf than these reactions would be justified. But, she wasn't. She smelled and acted of nothing but human. It would be dangerous for him to let her into his world without being sure.
What kind of sure do you need, Andreas. I am
sure. This is the only things Wolves are ever
sure about. Take her. Take her right now. I will
not let you let her slip through your fingers.
TAKE HER.
Anareas shook his head and opened the door to the car that would take Jessa home. He had called a Zeta from his pack that hada history of moralityy and honesty. He was the only one that Andreas could trust not to pry about why Andreas had spent an evening with a human. The Wolf inside Andreas lunged, caching Andreas off gaurd and he hurtled Andreas forward. The evening had been lovely, and Jessa had half hoping for more. Half hoping that he would take her to a 24 hour breakfast diner, or maybe even his house for some...chilling. But he offered no such possibility, and Jessa was too shy to offer either of those. “Hey, thanks for the ride. You really didn't have to," Jessa said for the final time as Andreas opened the door. Suddenly, Andreas moved so fast that Jessa felt like she saw his body elongate towards hers. He took her face in his hands and pushed her whole body into the side of the car. Blood coursed through jessa’s body, adrenaline spiking in her legs. He was so strong, Jessa was sure of that now. Jessa was so sure of that now. Then, he kissed her. Jessa’s heart pumped wildly. He kissed her like it was his last day on Earth, he kissed her as though she was the mirage of an oasis in a desert. Jessa swore that she could feel what he felt, and it made her dizzy with its intensity. “Jesus Christ, you're hot," Jessa exclaimed “I have you now, and I will never let you go" he growled. Jessa willed the beating of her heart to be still. She was completely entranced by him, the way his hand rested so gently on her neck. “I think you are my mate, and since it is so, I promise to protect you forever.” Jessa instinctively knew not question whatever the hell that meant. There was a glow to his eyes that was animalistic, yet vulnerable. She nodded. "Thank you," she whispered, almost reverently. She was stupefied. There was a power inside him that she wasn't going to mess with. With that, Andreas stepped back from her. The chauffeur was an oddly cheery man that did his best to get Jessa out of her shock. He assured her that Andreas was usually pretty intense and that it was nothing to worry about. Nothing to worry about. Andreas ran through the forest, not being able to contain his Wolf for any longer. He had barely made it to the reservation before his fingers bastard to look like claws and fur sprouted the back of his neck. To say the least, his Wolf was not happy with him. You didn't even save where she lived on that stupid touch rock of yours. How are you supposed to find where she is? How are you supposed to claim her? I can destroy you, Andreas. l can destroy you completely to get to her.'There will be no claiming yet, Andreas told him. The forest ground was soft underneath his paws. His breaths became large clouds of vapor. Just think about it, the danger we would be putting her in by introducing her into our world, Andreas thought. She doesn't have a Wolf inside her. What the hell are you even latching onto?' Her. I am latching onto her. You know, as well as I do, that the safest place in the whole city and beyond is by our side. No harm would befall her when she becomes ours. “You're not even a little bit skeptical?" This bond is as old as Gaia herself. Gaia has never lied to me. This happens only ONCE in Wolf's immortal life. You must take her. You must protect her. You must claim her. Andreas heard Barret's howl from somewhere East. The Wolf was calming down now, more or else. Andreas was beginning to agree with the wolf.
'But, we must be careful. Since she is human, we must do this the human way. We must, as you say, court her. Love her!
Love is child's play to whatI feel for her.
Andreas understood it perfectly. He felt it too. It
was destiny, it was fate. It was the feeling of
reckoning, and the feeling of bonding at the same time. Gaia's choice for them.
Barret walked over to Andreas. By now, Andreas
was back to his human form. There was nothing in his life that made him feel more alive than
transforming into his Wolf. “Hey, man. What happened? It seems like you lost
your temper or something. Did that brunette
reject you or something?” No, she was fine."
"It isn't like you to just wait for a woman like that. You feeling alright?" “Better than ever, Barret."
"Well," Barret shrugged. "Tell me when you are
done with that piece of delectable human meat. I
want a go after you."
Andreas felt the rage of his Wolf at those words.
Usually, this was a normal sentiment. After all,
they were un-mated eligible wolves. But this, this
made Andreas's blood boil
How. Dare. He.
Andreas pushed Barret into a tree, baring his
fangs. "You will never touch that girl," he said.
"You understand? If anyone other than myself
touches that girl I will tear them apart piece by
fucking piece. You better watch the others too.
That one's mine."
Barret's eyes widened in confusion, and then
understanding. This was order from the Alpha.
No one was to touch Andreas's girl.
