The following day, it was a Monday again and the barrage of questions about Ryder seemed endless. At lunchtime, Jade, Ilaria, Joselyn and I made our way to the main promenade area of the school, jostling past the crowds. As usual, there were clusters of “friendship groups”, intent on sitting in their chosen spots. Nobody dared to break the unspoken rule to avoid sitting where Ebony and her crew sat.
