I had left her office knowing full well what I needed to do. I need to work with him as best as I could. Especially on his confidence. I just wasn't exactly sure how I was going to be able to do that. And when taken into consideration the fact that I practically have no self confident. That's exactly why ended up with Dennis. That's why I stayed with Dennis. Because I had no self confidence or self respect. On some level, I knew Jamie was right about me from the beginning. Always trying to help people even though they did not have my best interest at heart. I was kind of always messed up in that way though. Every since I was little. I would always try to help people who never thanked me. Who never showed any kindness towards me whatsoever. Who never bothered to ask if I was okay or let me that things could be okay someday. I felt like an empty shell most of the time. Sure, I was attractive to some but most only wanted me for my body and I knew that. I knew that every single time going into a relationship and yet I would always go into them trying to keep enthusiasm that somehow this time would be different. But it rarely ever was.
Jamie, he and I had a lot in common. And maybe that is really the true reason I wanted to get him out of this place. So I could free him in the way that I couldn't free myself. So I could see him be something better than what I was. Something stronger than I was. Something smarter than I was. Which he definitely is. Jamie's IQ is completely off the charts. At least to me it is. He is so intelligent and he has a caring side despite that he is equally an asshole. But to be fair, most people are these days. Weirdly, I think he would fit into the outside world better than everyone else was expected him too. I think he would do great. Maybe get a job. Maybe get himself a pretty girl or something. Maybe do something productive with his life. Far more than I ever had. Hell, maybe I need to be the one locked up behind the cage.
