After some time, She freshened up and stepped out to clear her mind. Standing on the balcony, she was startled to see Daniel standing beside her. She suggested he get some rest, her tone laced with quiet concern. Daniel couldn’t help but feel a surge of happiness. Couldn’t help but feel a surge of happiness at her care. Their moment was interrupted by Agent Dark, who called them both for dinner. At the dinner table, the three of them were deeply engaged in discussing their mission. It was then that Agent Dark revealed her real name. “By the way, you can call me Mia,” she said casually, making Daniel pause for a moment. “What?” Mia grinned. “It’s not like my code name is a state secret.” After dinner, Daniel excused himself and went to his room, leaving Saidi and Mia alone in the dining area. The moment Daniel’s door closed, Mia pounced. “You like him. Right?” she asked with excitement. Saidi’s eyes widened as she stammered, “No, it’s not like that. I mean, why would you even think...” Mia interrupted with a knowing smirk. “Don’t even try to deny it. I saw the way you two kept sneaking glances at each other during dinner. You are so obvious, Saidi.” Saidi’s face turned a shade of red she couldn’t hide, and she buried it in her hands. “Mia, stop it. You are imagining things,” she muttered, but the words lacked conviction. Mia leaned closer, her grin turning even more mischievous. “Imagining? Bestie, please. I have known you for years. You are blushing like a teenager. Admit it, he is cute, isn’t he?” Saidi groaned, clearly flustered. “Mia, I am not having this conversation with you.” Mia did not back down. “Oh no, you are not escaping this time,” she said, stepping in front of Saidi with a playful glint in her eye. Feeling trapped, Saidi bolted for the hallway. “I am not listening to you,” she called over her shoulder as she ran. Mia laughed and gave chase, following her through the house. “You can run, but you cannot hide, Saidi. Just admit it.” Saidi finally darted into her room and shut the door, leaning against it as she tried to calm her racing heart. From the other side, Mia’s muffled voice teased, “You cannot avoid me forever. We are talking about this tomorrow.” Saidi shook her head, both exasperated and amused, her cheeks still warm. “Unbelievable,” she muttered to herself, but a small smile tugged at her lips as she flopped onto the bed.
