I woke up go the sound of door opening down stairs, I quickly jumped out of bed and looked for somethings to grab as a weapon Nothing in my bed room stood out "Oh fudge cake!" Huffed a voice "Lilly!" I screamed running down the stairs She was luckily stood at the bottom so I quickly jumped from the last step on to her squeezing her tight "Your home!" I smiled "Good detective skills" she laughed "You've just walked through the door and your already giving me sass" I stated letting her go "I've missed you princess" "I've missed you too Lilly" We both walked in to the living area and sat down "Now tell me all about it" "It was so strange going back...at first it didn't feel real but then after the first day it was as if I never left. My little niece is so cute, she had Rosie cheeks and emerald eyes" Lilly explained her face gleaming with happiness "What have they named her?" I asked "Oh...yeah they named her...Arabella...in honour of you, their run away princess" "Wha-what? Really?" I questioned "Yes, you've been my families favourite royal since the day you were born" "That's slightly strange to hear" I nervously chuckled I was feeling guilty once again for leaving the people of my kingdom behind "They are still looking for you, ya know" "They?" "You parents, your family...they are going through great limits trying to find you" "How are they?" "Your father and mother are both fine...health wise anyway. They don't make appearances anymore unless they are important. Roseiron has changed" she said sadly I looked down at my lap where I was twiddling my fingers Lilly's voice sounded so sad, roseiron was more of Lilly's home then it was mine. She had lived the normal every day life there. She had seen what happened and she knew of things the royal family never. My family may have ruled roseiron but they have never truly been part of roseiron. We were simply just playing job roles I could tell Lilly was thinking something she wasn't ready to say, maybe it would upset her or maybe she was trying not to upset me But I knew the truth and it was what I had feared when she left "You miss your home, your family" I began She looked at me nodding "You want to go home don't you? For good" I concluded I seen her take in a deep breath before replying "I do, I thought I was ready to leave. I've been gone a while and I'm not sure if this life is for me" "It's ok Lilly, I understand. I took you out of you life and I should've known better. If you wish to return then I would totally understand and I would never stop you from being happy" "It's not that easy and you know that...I'm Rosalie Parker's guardian. With out me being here, Rosalie Parker doesn't exist" She was right in every way, I couldn't remain living her with out her but I wasn't ready to leave "Your a princess arabella and it's time to return for the people" "Wait Lilly...I'm not ready and I need some time. Please" I asked "Perhaps we can compromise" she stated "We will remain here 4 months and then we will return to roseiron. I will return to my family and you will return to the kingdom" Tears were slipping from both Lilly's and my eyes I knew she was right. No matter how much I wanted to be away from royalty I couldn't do it. I was royalty and had to face it, there was no running because that's all I would ever be doing. Running "Deal" *** "Your extremely quiet today" Kate said nudging me "Huh?" I asked looking up from the food I had only been playing with "Anything wrong?" She asked I looked around to see them all staring at me; Kate, Olivia, Harriet, Lucas, Jacob, robin and Isaac. "Nothing's wrong" I lied I had been in school all morning just constantly thinking about how short 4 months actually was. Time would fly by and soon I would be gone and back to being princess Arabella Edwards as if none of this ever happened One side of me was saying that since I was going to leave I may as well leave now and save some heart ache, I won't hurt other people as much that way either But the rest of me was saying to enjoy these 4 months because it was the last and only freedom I would have ever again I'd worked so hard to get to this point and I wasn't willing to throw it all away "Something definitely seems up with you" Jacob then agreed I looked to Isaac who was staring at me intently and I knew he was trying to read me. I quickly looked away knowing there was a risk he would figure me out. "Nothing is wrong, seriously guys I'm just really tired. Lilly came home early this morning and woke me up. That's all" They each seemed to nod and get back to either food or a different conversation. Isaac however carried on staring at me and then shock his head in a 'no' motion. "What?" I asked quietly He didn't reply and eventually looked away I Hated the fact that Isaac some how knew me so well. He could read me like a book and could look right through me unlike the others who could be easier persuaded But did I really hate it? Or did I secretly like the fact he payed close attention to me Isaac had told me he knew I was hiding something and he also told me he would find out. Maybe that's why he seemed to care so much. Perhaps curiosity was getting the better of him But curiosity killed the cat "Is Audrey working in the shop today?" "I believe so, she's there most days" Isaac answered me "Great, I'm going to stop by after school" "Is that your way of trying to stalk me? Be-friending my family?" He questioned "Technically I was friends with her before you and I seriously didn't know she was your grandmother, I really didn't expect it" "That's what they all say" he smirked before standing "don't miss me darling" His smirk grew even bigger as he began walking away "Oh and don't follow me either, stalker" he called through the canteen laughing Oh he thought that was a funny joke Everyone seemed to turn around and look at me to which I felt the heat redden my cheeks Now everyone thinks I'm a stalker Watch your back Isaac!
