2: THE WEREWOLF TOWN

[EULIX CALIBER'S POINT OF VIEW]

I want to wake up from this dream. I'm so scared right now. I don't know what else to do here. I'm just hiding here behind the big tree and I don't want to come out. I hope it's just a dream... A scary dream...

"What happened to our previous alpha?" asked by a man. I don't know if I should call him a person, because from what I saw he was not a person.

"He died while fighting the vampire clan that rushed into your old territory. They seized the territory you had. So I am here now in front of you and informing you of that bad event. I will also take over as your new alpha," the man in front answered.

What am I hearing now? If earlier I saw werewolves that became in human form, now I hear about vampires? I think I'm going crazy. What kind of dream is this? This is the first time I have experienced something like this. It's like what's happening right now in front of me is real and I just don't want to believe it. I feel like I'm just fooling myself now that it's all fake and I'll wake up still in my apartment and in my real world...

"This is our new territory from now on. I am your new leader. From now on you will follow me. We will have a plan on how we will prepare and take revenge against the vampires who killed your old leader! Do you understand me?" added by the man in front of them.

"May we know who you are first? We need to know your identity before trusting you. It's surprising that you informed us that the leader we recognize is dead. Then suddenly you come here and introduced yourself as our new leader. You must first earn our trust and show us that you deserve to be our leader."

The man in front looked at who spoke. I just can't see what their leader looks like. But based on what I see now of the appearance of men and women who have become human, I can say that they really look like a real normal people and there are also beautiful and handsome people in them. But they were all naked. Only one leaf is wrapped around the lower part of their body.

"Who do you think deserves to be the leader here? Is it you?"

Based on the tone of the man's voice in front of him, it seemed that he didn't like what that man said to him. The man questioned his quality and ability to be a leader of this group. I don't know what I should call them.

"Answer me properly--"

The man could not continue what he had to say when suddenly the man who was their leader approached him! He came so fast in front of that man! He even overcame a wind that suddenly passed by. I didn't even notice that he had moved to a place in front of the man who asked him!

He strangled the man and immediately lifted him up. "You have no right to ask me that, if I'm not as strong as you. Can you beat me in a fight?" their leader said angrily.

"I just want to make sure-- acckk!"

AND THEN HE DIED SO FAST AND EASILY! HE DIED IMMEDIATELY IN A FLASH!

I could not believe what I witnessed. My whole body trembled when I saw how the blood splattered on the face of their leader. He threw the body of the man he was holding as if it was just an animal. Oh, he really is an animal because he is a werewolf. But... I just can't believe what I have seen!

"You will be like him the moment you ask me if I deserve to be your leader or not. I get angry quickly, so don't try to anger me anymore. What I want is to obey me. If you don't want to I can show you how easy it is to kill me. Do you think I wanted to be your leader?! The moment I hear something I don't like, that's the end of your life!" he shouted even more angrily.

Suddenly, he faced my place and I saw his whole face there. He has a pointed nose, thick eyebrows, blue eyes, and a beautiful body. Overall, he is handsome. But the blood covered the beauty of his face. I backed away from where I was standing when I saw that he was looking straight into my eyes!

Can he see me now?

I saw that he grinned and in an instant that man was right in front of me.

"OH MY GOD!"

I screamed because I was so surprised when he appeared in front of me. My eyes widen because of the fear and panic I feel now. "Look what we have here..."

His voice is very deep. He's basically my type in a man! But because he's not a normal person and he's scary, I won't like him! I feel pure fear now. I was like a statue where I was standing and I couldn't move. I wanted to run away from him, but I couldn't move my legs.

He smelled me. I wanted to walk away but I couldn't. "You're a human?" he asked me.

"A human?! A food?!" shouted by the other werewolves behind him. They are looking at me now even though they are still not coming near me.

"This is... just a d-dream, right?" I stuttered to ask their leader.

He laughed because I said that. He looked all around me from behind me as if he was observing it. The next thing he looked at was my whole body.

"How did you get here? I am amazed... You are not just an ordinary person," he commented to me. I was confused as to what he meant by that.

"W-What do you mean?"

Am I really not dreaming now? Is all this really true? The man who is the leader of these werewolves is now in front of me... Does that mean I am in another world or place now?

"How did you get here? Did our enemies send you? Are you a hunter?" he asked me again.

"Look... I don't even know how I got here. But thank God that you can understand me and I can understand what you're saying too... Can you help me get out of here? I am really terrified right now and I want to go home. I was just sleeping and then I just woke up that I was here. I don't know what happened to me," I explained to him.

I hope that maybe he will believe me and help me. I want to get out of this place. I don't know what else to do to get away from them.

"Don't let her get out of here! She can be our fresh food!" those behind still shouted.

I felt even worse fear because I heard that animal said that.

The man turned his back on me and immediately faced his men. I thought I could breathe easily because I could no longer see his bloody face. But I'm wrong...

"We can't let her go nor eat her. I sense something special about this human. She's not just an ordinary woman. We will know if we keep her here in werewolf town."

"What?! I told you, I don't know how I ended up coming here. I was just sleeping a while ago and I just woke up that I'm here. Please believe me... I don't know what happened to me ," I explained further. I was surprised because of what I heard he said to his staff.

He looked at me again and immediately got closer. I tried to pull away, but he grabbed my waist to stop me from pulling away from him.

"I am Xien... the alpha of the werewolf town."
