Chapter 5

Nikolai looked at her with an expression of sheer disbelief and outrage.

"Just because I used an intimate video to threaten you, you deliberately found vagrants to defile Lucie, and recorded an intimate video of her? Sienna, are you even human?!"

Sienna looked up at him, a sudden, bitter laugh escaping her lips. "I recorded a video of her to threaten you? Nikolai, I have already deleted your flash..."

"Enough!" Before she could finish, Nikolai cut her off, his voice roaring with fury. "Even now, you're still making excuses! Sienna, if anything happens to Lucie, I will make you pay with your life!"

Refusing to listen to any of Sienna’s explanations, his face dark and menacing, he forcefully locked her away in the basement before leading his men to rescue Lucie.

Inside the basement. Sienna had been suspended by her bound wrists for two hours. Her shoulders were dislocated, and her entire body was so exhausted that her face was deathly pale.

She bit her lip fiercely, her face contorting with immense pain.

Seeing this, a flash of pity flickered in the depths of Nikolai’s eyes, but his voice remained heavy and cold. "Are you still refusing to admit it?"

Sienna’s stubborn gaze locked tightly onto him. "I didn't do it. Why should I confess to something I didn't do?"

At her response, Lucie immediately began to weep, squeezing out a few tears. "Nikolai, just forget it... How could she ever admit to such a thing? I have no dignity left to live in this world anymore. Just let me die!"

As soon as she finished speaking, she made a move to throw herself against the wall.

Nikolai held her back, wrapping his arms tightly around her, his eyes bloodshot. "Lucie, I will get justice for you."

He turned his gaze back to the room, shouting, "Put the electric shock collar on her!"

Sienna stared fiercely at the surrounding bodyguards.

"I am the eldest daughter of the Moretti family! If you dare touch me, the Morettis will absolutely never let you get away with this!"

The bodyguards hesitated, looking at each other, not daring to step forward.

Nikolai let out a cold sneer. "I, Nikolai Lennox, have no use for dogs that refuse to bite. Anyone who dares to disobey can go to the backyard to receive thirty lashes, and then get the hell out of the Lennox estate forever!"

Weighing their options, the bodyguards immediately moved in. They forcefully pinned Sienna’s hands and feet, then strapped the electric shock collar around her neck.

"Let me go! Let go of me!"

Sienna struggled desperately, but successive jolts of electricity surged through her, leaving her limp and collapsed on the ground.

Her entire body was devoid of strength. She watched in horror as a group of foul-smelling vagrants lunged at her, greedily tearing at her disheveled dress.

Fear, like freezing needles, pierced into every single cell of her body.

"No! Don't touch me..."

Sienna broke down completely, her voice thick with tears as she trembled beneath those men.

"Nikolai, it really wasn't me! You will regret this!"

Hearing her words, his fists involuntarily clenched, and a trace of sympathy stirred in his eyes.

Lucie took a step forward, crying out to interrupt her. "Sienna, those vagrants admitted with their own mouths that you ordered them to do it. Could that possibly be a lie? Or are you suggesting that I threw away my own innocence just to falsely accuse you?"

Nikolai’s face turned icy inch by inch, his tone dripping with utter disappointment.

"Don't stop. Let her suffer a bit more so she learns her lesson."

Sienna’s heart wrenched in agony, her entire body shaking violently.

Once before, when she had been drugged and secretly filmed by some thugs, Nikolai had flown into a rage, chopping off both of the perpetrator's arms and ruthlessly wiping out the entire underground black market ring involved.

He had knelt on one knee before her, eyes rimmed with red, promising that he would never let anyone hurt her again.

But all that love and deep affection had been a lie.

In front of Lucie, the woman he truly loved, he did not hesitate to punish and retaliate against her. Even when letting a crowd of vagrants humiliate her, he remained entirely unmoved!

Sienna’s heart turned completely cold. In absolute despair, she broke free from the vagrants with a sudden burst of strength and slammed herself violently into the corner of the wall.

Blood instantly gushed from her pristine forehead. Darkness rushed into her field of vision, and her consciousness gradually faded away.
