Alright. Well, the reunion wasn’t as happy as I was hoping for, but an adjustment like this for Amelia would take time.
Soon though, I was certain she would come around and see why this was necessary.
I just needed to do my best to repair things, to turn Amelia’s opinion of me around, and show her that I wasn’t someone to loathe or to fear.
I was the same man that she had fallen in love with.
Perhaps, to do this, what I really needed, was to start over and woo her once again.
