once we got Maddy settled in a room I went to my supervisor and let her know what was going on. thankfully she was understanding and told me I could just log some shadowing hours on the labor and delivery floor and gave me a change of scrubs.
so I've been shadowing and also checking in on Maddy. shes been a trooper and is close to ready to push finally. it has been an extremely long night and early morning for all of us. Kevin has stayed by her side and Everytime she has a contractions I can see how it effects him also but he's staying strong for her. Neal has been in and out trying to help them as much as he can and he sat with Maddy while I did a few rounds and Kevin got something to eat.
